My son is gonna be Link for Halloween.
This is what we have so far.. the Sword is chopped up from a cheap foam sword I found I shortened and shaped it to match better... the shield was made from layers of foam board paint and foil tape (Yeah I know its not game accurate, he and I came up with our own design)... the Hat and Tunic are not finished yet they need some sewing still... the under shirt and pants are stand ins until I can find the right colored ones.. the boots are final.
What do you guys think? work in progress  Final

Oh wow, I really hope this keeps you busy for the whole month. A TTG Halloween contest entry with that skill level and love for detail, I wonder if anyone stands a chance.

Every time he jumps and stuff he has to grunt and yell. No talking. When he motions his bag for trick or treating he must say "Yeeuuhh!" And then when he gets candy he must take it in hand and hold it over his head. At this point you must have a handheld recording device in hand to play this or this. Or just sing it a cappella.

Before the picture he was debating if he should hold the sword in his left hand (Classic pre-motion control Link is a lefty).. he was going to too... but he discovered the shield fits him better in his left because of the way we made the strap and handle... He is pretty pumped about it so far... Regulars here at TTG should know this isn't the first time he has been dressed up.
Musicallyinspired ... I do have that as well as all sorts of music on my phone.
