Hrm, I was hoping posting on the forums would just bring to Telltale's attention that people were unhappy with the way the jeep's owner was treated... I hope my posting directing to Reddit wasn't cause for all this anger.

My point was that I believe Telltale should pay for the damages of the car, nothing more. I personally wasn't interested in purchasing JP, but I've been a long time fan of Telltale's works, and always touted their games. I just hope this doesn't besmirch the company in any way; normally Telltale is spoken of well on r/gaming.

I love how none of you have anything to say about the fact that TellTale is screwing this guy over. Just launching personal attacks towards anyone who is on his side. It is really laughable but pathetic at the same time.

Really if it is true, the main people to blame are Telltale's legal department. In basic procedure they should have made a report to head office, inspected the damage for themselves, compared photos, and if it's proven automatically get the liability insurance to cover damages. This should be automatic practice for a large company. Then the head office can decide if they want to further compensate said claimer.

Ok if this is true, I do feel sorry for the guy, I really do. I hope he wins said lawsuit. BUT it isn't going to stop me from buying telltale's games. It's not the games developer's fault that their legal department are scummy. Also I'm too much a fan of Jurassic Park, and nothing will get in my way of playing it....nothing.....

I really can't see why this was even turned public, at least before it was settled between the two parties involved since this only matters to Telltale and the jeep's owner and only them. This is a matter that should be discussed in particular and not all through the internet.

Whether or not Telltale doesn't take responsibility for the jeep's damage it's not anyone business besides the jeep's owner. Boycotting this in the internet make you lose all the reason you might have at first, really.
