What browser are you using to download it, and is there some kind of download manager involved?

Firefox and no, just firefox saving to the hard drive.

edit: also tried disabling Avira, no effect.

I tried updating winrar, no luck. The error message I keep getting for episode 1 is this:

I got it to work finally!! I uninstalled once more, and when I reinstalled, I reinstalled under as administrator. That worked for me.

Sadly though, I spent most of my day waiting, downloading, installing, uninstalling, reinstalling so many times that now it's almost 1am here and I need to go to bed lol

I did play a little of it and it is working fine for now. I feel relieved

You Rock, 550 thank you! I had to also check windows 7 compatibility mode on mine also and administrator.
