I have not been able to load my game and therefore have not been able to proceed to the next episode. When I chose to LOAD game the entire screen just falls black and silent and nothing happens. Anyone have any advice? This is enormously frustrating. I have never had so many issues with a single game/product EVER. Astonishing.

You might want to post this in the help section first though.

I don't know if that will help, but you could try setting the graphics settings to minimum before loading the savegame.

Your issue sounds similar to this one. Can you try what worked there?

Restart the chapter. The game will make a new save file, it should work now... at least it worked for me
