Monkey Island Special Edition Collection
Is it possible to get Secret of Monkey Island SE or LeChucks Revenge SE separate dvd boxes from any store? Or are they separately sold only digitally? Im a bit of a MI collector so i would like to have all the games on my shelf in their own boxes, but I guess I will buy the SE Collection dvd box then if they arent sold separately in any retail stores.

As far as I know, the games are sold only through digital download. No box, no retail stuff. Sorry

That's for the Lucasarts games- if you want Tales of Monkey Island, you have to buy it from here or another online distributor like Steam.

Yes, I know that, as I own a ToMI collectors dvd box. Im just trying to get all versions of monkey island games on cd or dvd, It doesnt feel like you own them, if you just buy them digitally.

AFAIK the box which includes both special editions is the only official disc version. At least it's the only version they sell on stores around here.
Personally I haven't bought it as I already own direct download versions of both games, but if they would have published disc versions at the same time when the direct download versions were published then I would have preferred disc version. Last edited by Olaus Petrus; 11/30/2011 at 11:46 pm. |
