So where the fuck is that Portal?! Ahh... never mind, it would be on The Steam anyway. Still, this is the e-mail I just received and... Portal?!?

Quote:
Also included is Portal ('Still Alive') and Moby-soundtracked musical puzzle game Chime from Doublesix Digital Publishing (Windows on Steam); a puzzle platformer with a rotation/time-shift mechanic from Smudged Cat Games that's about a googly-eyed vampire: Adventures of Shuggy (Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free); a 1920s-set puzzle adventure game celebrated by GamesRadar for being "clever, original and genuinely pleasing to play" from Mousechief, Dangerous High School Girls In Trouble (Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free); a graphical interactive fiction/bonus game also from Mousechief, The Witch's Yarn (Windows and Mac on Desura and DRM-Free); and a pumpin' retro style shooter from AquaFox The Network (Windows on Desura and DRM-Free).

They're just saying "Still Alive" from Portal is a song on the Chime soundtrack.

Wah I'm sad I managed to miss Humble Indie Bundle 6. Was mostly only interested in Wizorb and Torchlight, but I'm sure there were other gems in there, and I'm sad I can't get some of these soundtracks now

Who's ready for another Be Mine bundle? The fifth one is now live!

Here's what you get:

- King's Bounty: The Legend (Steam and DRM Free)
- NEO Scavenger (Desura and DRM Free)
- X-Blades (Steam only, though if you really want this then you're in trouble!)

Beat $5 and you'll also get:

- Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD (Steam and DRM Free)
- Tropico 3 (Steam only)

And three 'graphic novels'. The first volumes of The Sixth Gun, Sharknife: Stage First and WASTELAND.

There's more unlockables, but they're time-locked, so we'll have to wait for them.

Did I say time-locked? I meant sales-locked. Only one more item left to be unlocked in the fifth Be Mine bundle, and it's a music album, so no-one cares.

In addition to what I mentioned in the previous post, you now get the following as well:

Game - Kung Fu Strike (Steam Only)
Music - Search and Destroy (by Rockman), The Android Factory (by Josh Money), Special Collection (by Lucid Fly), Dim World (by Diminished 7) and World Invasion (by Sammy Plotkin)

So! The fifth Be Mine bundle. More stuff's been unlocked, and not just music.

If you splash out $5 or more, you get a DRM-free copy of Dreamscape. Whatever that is.

If you splash out $8 or more, you get the Earth 2150 trilogy (the original game and both expansions, before you get any grandiose ideas) and Septurra Core, both of which are DRM-free.

There's also some albums, none of which are particularly noteworthy.

But seriously. Septurra Core? Dudes.

It's not often I decide on an Indie Royale bundle this quickly. Usually I just don't bother with them. To the Moon and the Blackwell game are of course worth it alone. I already have them though, but I'm curious about the Linux games. I was very fond of Populous back in the day, so it'll be interesting to try out Reprisal. I've also been looking at Oil Rush for a while since I think it's supposed to be the most graphically demanding Linux game at the moment.

Humble eBook Bundle?

Nothing at the base level jumps out at me, but the Beat the Average (and it's a high average) includes xkcd Volume 0 and the first two Penny Arcade books.

Yeah, I didn't think it was worth mentioning. I've already got the two Penny Arcade books in physical form anyway, so there's that incentive out the window.

I might've been interested a week ago when the average was lower, but I also own the first two Penny Arcade books and don't really want to pay $13 for this.

I don't feel like $13 is a high average for books.

Then again, I actually own an ereader.

Aw crap, I already got the Blackwell Deception. But hey, at least it got To The Moon.

I do have to say, get the bundle, if only for the Blackwell game. I fucking love the Blackwell series, and you should too. So you should purchase it.

Otherwise I'll come over and murder you dead.

Naw, just kidding, I'm not gonna pay for flight tickets just to murder people.

But I better not catch you in the Netherlands.

Thanks for the offer, but I had already bought it when I wrote that post.

Macheist Bundle released yesterday: includes Devil's Playhouse, Bejewled 3, Jurassic Park, and SBCG4AP, a year's subscription to Evernote, and a number of Mac only applications on top for $29. Play their puzzle games and you get an additional 10% off that, and both Bioshock and Correl Painter will be unlocked for all if enough people buy. Not a real game bundle (as most of the software is a) not games and B) other than Evernote, the not-games are Mac only, but playing through the full free game they have gives you a lot more software in the bundle and a lower price. It's worth it for Painter or Evernote alone, if you're interested in either.
