Sure hope you never, ever want to replay any of those games then. Unless you decide to emulator or want to fork over more money, you're gonna be out of luck.

But then, I suppose too many gamers these days are just "beat it and trade it" and never keep most of their games to replay at later dates.. it's sad.

EDIT: I suppose my feelings on the subject are due in large part to the fact that I don't see the value in trading them in. Nothing I'd even consider trading in would be worth anything, and I resent the fact that they turn around and sell them for $10-20 or more.. often will throw out the case and manual I took care of, too.

I always regret trading in/chucking stuff away not long after I do it, so I never bother these days. If you're short of cash you may as well though.

Just a shame certain PSP games, like Crisis Core and Birth by Sleep, aren't available on the PSN to buy.

^Seconded. I regret trading in stuff.

(Except for Fable 3. That game actually made me HATE it!!)

I traded in Mass Effect 2 for near full price three months after beating it(taking advantage of a GameStop trade-in promo and a Mass Effect 2 trade-in value that wasn't updated to get $53 in credit for it). I then paid $5 for it on Steam later. Overall, I'd say things worked out.

I suppose with something like Mass Effect being on both console and PC, that's a more understandable logic. Trading it in and getting almost all of your money back and then getting it for tuppence on Steam was a really good move.

Most of the stuff I'd have to trade in is not available on PC, however, unless I can find a way to emulate it, though.

Seibert, this is not the place for that. If you are looking for people to help you make a game, why not try a dev forum? Google around, there are lots of them. But this is not really a place to ask for help MAKING games, especially in an unrelated thread.

Thanks.

I would buy a Vita if I didn't have to replace my nearly broken 360.

Nah, I'll be okay. The only PSP games I could even qualify as good were LittleBigPlanet PSP and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. Ghost of Sparta I have in HD on PS3 and I have both the original LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2.

I never usually trade games in, but these I had absolutely no use for.

Aren't those lovely? I had mine destroy the disc inside of it because it needed to be moved an inch.

Oh gods, I still don't know how the Xbox ended up being capable of damaging the discs cause it got bumped or moves slightly, or that they never thought this would be a problem. We've had disc-based consoles for around 10 years by the time it came out, too.

My PS1 used to sit on top of my PS2 (now I have a PS2 slim it's the other way around), and the one on top used to move fairly often while running cause I have cats. Never harmed the disc.

Seeing as the Vita's launch has been a literalcomedy of errors up untilthispoint, I'll wait until there's a significant price drop.

Since I can't think of anything other than the Facebook app being a bit buggy and having to be taken down, and maybe some issues with the pricing of accessories and memory cards, care to fill me in on what people are saying is so disastrous?

Facebook app was taken down? What was so buggy about it?

Oh, so that explains why the Facebook app won't even load...

In addition to the extreme overpricing, there was the Taco Bell promo that caused a fiasco(though it wasn't Sony's fault, it did detract from the launch IMO), laughable overseas sales, the AT&T scalping for the First Edition bundle (not to mention the already stupidly expensive data plans)... Seriously? take your pick.
