I've bought the game on Steam. It doesn't work. I've tried the troubleshooting steps posted on the FAQ technical support, but nothing seems to change. All I get is "WalkingDead101.exe stopped working". I've read on this thread that i'm not the only one with this problem. But what can i do now? Just wait for some new patch?
P.S: Please forgive my english, i'm italian.

Start steam and then disable your internet before starting the walking dead game. This workaround has helped at least 6 of us in this forum who otherwise couldn't play the game at all. Telltale still hasn't updated the faq with this common fix. 6 people doesn't sound like a lot but there's probably only 60 people posting actively to the forum...

I've tried to run the game with internet disabled, but nothing seems to change...

On the Xbox version, you can't invert the controls. I don't know if that counts as a bug or not, but for many console gamers like me that renders the whole thing unplayable. I'm hoping it gets fixed as I really want to purchase the full version of this game!

I found a glitch in the office room after Clem cuts her finger helping you move the desk.

The glitch occurs when Lee goes to the first aid kit and returns with a bandage. Immediately after Lee applies the bandage, the camera is low to the ground where you see Lee's back with Clem sitting on the desk.

I was able to hit the dialog button to bring up 4 button-choices (ie: any word from Glen, how are things, etc). But when this dialog appears, Clem asks if her parents are okay.

Because you bring up the 4 dialog options before Clem asks about her parents, you're stuck with 4 choices that do not respond to her question. If you pick something, Clem will react based on the 4 choices rather than the question she just asked.

However, when she finishes speaking, you will hear her voice say "I asked you a question!" Unfortunately you are never given the option to chose to tell Clem that her parents are alive/dead.

This is on the XBox 360.

Message says "Unable to establish a connection to the Telltale servers to verify the ownership status of this account. Please ensure that you have an active internet connection."

which version ? did you check your internet is on ?

also check your game install is 100%

File being executed is WalkingDead101.exe, so version 1.01 maybe? The version is not displayed when executing that, is there a file I can check to see the version, an ini file maybe? I am definitely on the internet when I try to start the game, so scratch that possibility. I saw no error during the install, is there a file I can examine or a utility to use which can tell me if the install is 100% or not? And lastly - I am on a satellite connection (yah I live in the sticks, that and dialup are my only options), are there reports of problems with satellite connections? (HughesNet in my case)
