ONE DAY ONLY - Psychonauts from GOG for $2.50

GOG is selling the PC version of Psychonauts for $2.50 USD for about the next 24 hours. Considering the kinds of people that make up this community may care about Tim Schaefer projects, I thought some people here might appreciate the tip.

I already got it during the Steam special about a year ago. But I might buy it again purely for the purpose of having a version free of that filthy DRM.

I have the PS2 version, but I heard that the computer version was a lot smoother with a lot less lag... true?

I have no idea how well or badly the PS2 version plays, though I do know that the PC version comes with higher-resolution textures and if the lag had anything to do with hardware then any modern computer suitable for gaming should run it more nicely.

Maybe if Tim would do a OSX and a Linux version, it could show up in an upcoming Humble Indie Bundle as well.

Okay.
I bought this game on steam for 1 quid. But I am still going to buy this since its a DRM free version, (and who knows, in the future we may have portable PC's that can run these games. Twould be nice to have access to it on the go! >  ).Its a very nice game as well. |
