Nah. Linear for the first episode was a safety choice. To make a comparison, when you first start doing Dungeons and Dragons games, you often run with a premade adventure just to get a feel of the game. I'm sure your choices will have an impact on scenery and the feel of the game in later episodes. I would also like to point out that there are multiple writers and that Episode 4 will be written by a sadist so it promises to be the best if none of the rest stand out.

Feel free to take that as a challenge TT.

As you said. In addition, I think the choices we have made thus far have yet to really have a chance to affect anything. I am sure we will see a lot more repercussions in future episodes.

I'm jumping ahead a hell of a lot but I know in episode 5 you return to Clem's house, one of the trophies on the ps3 is called 'The Marsh House' and if I remember that is her surname. ...Maybe we hear from her parents but something happens, I can't see it being a happy ending for them.

my guess is that in the next episode someone in the group gets bit and you have to put them out of their misery. I'm thinks its gonna be either Larry or Katjaa, depending on who you side with in the Kenny Vs Larry argument

What makes you think that? The "Next time on..." preview with Lee and the axe? Because I have an idea about that... but I'm really hoping I'm wrong and the writers are a bit more original than to use a situation that was directly from the comic.

maybe one of them doesn't get bitten, but i played the game twice. once siding with Kenny and another siding with Larry. when i sided with Kenny the preview showed lily yelling at me in a blue room about how i didn't side with her dad. in the one that i sided with Larry it showed Kenny talking to me in the same room about how i thought we should kill duck and that this somebody isnt gonna make it. now that i think about it i actually think Larry is gonna die. yup Larry

I'm not sure if someone has said this yet but to me it seems obvious that if you saved Duck during the episode 2 preview Katjaa very clearly comes onto Lee and wants to 'reward' him for saving her son. To me this can only be one thing.

The axe scene sounded to me like our first amputation in the videogame. He keeps screaming after it comes down, no? Either way amputation isn't new for the TWD comics.

See? That's what I thought of too and that's what I really hope they do NOT do. To take something directly from the comic like that shows unoriginality to me. But, I guess it can be rationalized. It could be something someone might think of in that situation. *shrug*

I'm wondering if we'll run into the Governor(Rise was great btw) or other areas from the comics. The possibilities are thrilling...

At some point tho, due to comic canon... pretty much everyone will either move on or get killed. I wonder if by ep 4 or 5 if we move on to different states or something. Can't wait

So far throughout we have never left Georgia. There was a group that came from Washington but they don't happen upon a group until Georgia. Lily ends up at Woodbury along with presumably any side characters you save(can't just kill them all off, poor writing.) Glenn goes to Rick but may not have necessarily gone just yet. In future episodes we will probably run into more characters from the comics. Tyreese was on his own at first wasn't he?

I really hope this game extends into Woodbury. I want to see the Governor. We could maybe see it at a stage prior to his arrival as well and that would also be pretty awesome.

You remember the shooting we heard at the end of the game? This is the walking dead, soon way that is the army or police coming to the rescue. Uh, uh. They're crazy bandits coming to kill you and take your shelter. They're probably let by a psychotic mad man with violent tendencies, just to keep things interesting. Woodsbury group.

yea probably the shane/lori thing happened during the first chapter but from the scenes we saw from the second chapter it looks like it doesn't happens right away were the 1st one ended, but i don't think lee's group will meet shane since glenn is about to meet rick (And well shane dies a few days later after rick joins) i could be wrong tho.

The lights all turning off at the end freaked me out, then clementine running towards the group made it more scarier like something horrible and dramatic is going to happen.

I think that they will find "light" somehow, maybe flashlights or like see if there's a power generator somewhere. I don't know lol.

Then, when it hits sunset they will of course use problem solving and see if they can get out of that motel i'm sure it's not thier option to continue to stay there with walkers all in the forest near them.

It sucks to know that they have no food or supplies much to last them, it looks like they actually stayed the LONG enough for it to hit winter? (it looked like it was winter/fall judging by the clips at the end)

The part where the guys come in and introduce themselves, i believe those people are the bandits that they show later in the clips, and these people tried to take everything that Lee and the group has. It's an all out war in the 2nd episode IMO.

Losses, i think Kenny's wife is next in line to get killed or Doug/Carley if Doug/Carley if either was chosen for you guys. Then duck.. I think Kenny will survive, he seems like a strong guy in the group.

About Glenn, i believe it will be linked to what happened on the Comics/TV show and he will find his friends in Atlanta and then find shelter in a farm (where ever they are at the end of the clips, the farm that they end up in) (probably Hershel's who knows)

That's all i predict. I'm not about spoilers here.. this is all in what i think will happen.

Keep in mind, Shane dies well into the Winter in the comics, while the second episode of the game looks to be taking place in the Fall. He's still out there somewhere, but I doubt we'll see him. Seems like Telltale wants to stay away from the major characters.
