LOL. Yeah, I noticed that too. I chalk that up to a slight error on TTG's part, though. The walker turn should have been shown before Doug yells. Otherwise, if they were not already turning (as the shown scene suggests), he would not have had anything to react to with, "Oh, shit!"

well i think on the first play through most people including me saved carly because she has a gun and is a good shot and so she initially offers more usefullness

of course in later episodes this may and probably will change, like if you save carly you'll have some tech problem you can't solve and if you saved doug you'll come across some form of combat situation that maybe harder..or another person like irene...

Well my first thought was Carly had a gun, so at last that's helpful. After turning the TV's on Doug makes a statement about being good at electronics can be helpful. I sort of tuned that out because I thought there wouldn't be much electronics since the power would be down.

After choosing Carly it bothered me more and more. Doug's ability was electronics, which on the surface seems less important then someone with a gun. I now think I made a huge mistake by choosing her. Someone with a gun isn't hard to find. But I've got a feeling having someone who can use electronics is going to mean more then I gave it credit for.

I'm confused as to why people think Doug can fix walkie talkies and restore power. He's an IT guy which is different from being an electrician or engineer or whatever. I doubt he has any sort of skills to fix walkie talkies just because he can memorise universal codes for a remote.

BTW decision still stands on Doug being my choice.

Dunno if you mean me specifically I just wondered if he could It'd make Clementine feel better if he could and that'd be worth saving him . I chose Carley in both my playthroughs because even though Carley might just be an Sharpshooter Savant and quite incompetent at everything else theres another reason to choose her.

Carly was out of ammo and needed your help to reload. This was obvious. If you missed it then you were not paying close enough attention to the scene.

while my mom watched i saved doug on the one hand he's shown screwing a laptop so maybe he can fix Clems Walkie Talkie on the other hand when he offers his energy bar he calls it half eaten even if Carleys is half eaten as well she didnt mention it.

I think saving the person who knows your past can be an asset, not a hindrance. With Doug alive and Larry on your ass, there's no one to think the issue through with. "I have to take out Larry." "WTF, why Lee!?" "...". With Carly alive, Lee has someone to discuss the Larry issue with. I think those who saved her will find building a relationship with her an asset, not a threat.
