I can see how he wouldn't have thought about it - I was kicking myself when the door opened and the alarm went off. Duh. Drugs = security. But we'd been walking freely around the entire store so it never occurred to me that a single area would be alarmed. Think of the dialogue options as thoughts going through Lee's head. Just having the option avaliable to tell people the specific whereabouts of your family let's the player know that Lee the character knows, and anything else is a lie.

The area I live in is very much still in the past, and we still have an old-fashioned drug store/pharmacy/diner.

To be honest I think you do see Lee's Father in some point of the game. What I mean is this.....Who was that walker in the toilet when Clem opened the door ? I think that that walker could have been his dad. Why and how would a walker be there then in the first place ? I mean if that walker wasn't his dad than who might have it been, and what was it doing there in the first place ?

lol well maybe he was the guy who bit lee's parents / brother ? and i'd say lee's bro trapped him in the toilet but the damage was done...

The toilet was locked from the outside (at least Clem was able to open it from the outside after Lee told her to use the key from behind the counter).
But normally, toilets don't have good locks, therefore I doubt that somebody from Lees family trapped somebody in there.
I believe somebody tried to enter the pharmacy by smashing the toilet window and then climbing in. Sadly, he cut himself on the broken window and turned...

LOGIC says why would a toilet not have lock on the inside? you don't want anyone walking in on you doing your thang ? so having an outside lock would be able to bypass the inside lock to stop people breaking in via the toilets window even though it would of been a tight fit.

also the time frame of this toilet dweller turning is something to consider if the guy was knocked out or killed by lee's family it would be easy to shove it in the toilet room, lock the door and maybe they could of blocked it off if they weren't in a hurry/ trouble them selves.



and it's a drug store/pharmacy so i would assume to reduce the chances of theft it has a good lock on it.
