But Steam is great.
I for one will not get it if it isn't on Steam.

If there also is a DRM free version available, I have no problem with this game also being on Steam. But you already knew that.

Agreed. Though I can completely understand Vainamoinen's rationing on it. Though I've come to love Steam because it's a nice way to buy full games on an easy-to-use, trustworthy service at sometime sale prices.

Emily (former Telltale PR person) has written her own preview of The Cave for Adventure Gamers. Check it out if you'd like to see her perspective.

Not sure if anyone knew about these, but here's two interesting tidbits about The Cave I stumbled across.

Quote:
The characters you choose determine which areas of the cave you get to explore. It also means you'll play out a different part of the storyline depending on your companions. You'd need to play the game three times to see them all.
Quote:
Death rewinds you five seconds instead of making you replay a portion of the adventure. Ron Gilbert says that traditional death has no place in adventure games. The Cave can therefore be played in one seamless sitting, sans loading time.
Both quotes are from 'Tina' at Kotaku. Link. They're numbers 18 & 19.

I do not work for Telltale Games, and my views are not representative of them or anyone who works there.

"Ron Gilbert says that traditional death has no place in adventure games."

Cue the Sierra fans.
