While my irritation may have cooled slightly, I am without a doubt never paying up front for an "episodic" game like this considering this experience. If it were a per episode price, that would be fine, but not for a whole season. Pretty much Tell Tale is just sitting on my 25 bucks and could be vacationing in Hawaii for all I really know.

Essentially we just paid for a Kick Starter project without being aware of it. I'm all for Kick Starter, but it's awesome to know up front what the deal is. So yeah, while I've highly enjoyed the Sam & Max games and the first episode of TWD, I won't be buying their stuff until an entire "season" has been released.

Jake actually said a bit more in this thread than you have posted, that said, still no definite date, no explanation, nothing more than a little communication (which did somehow make me feel a little better). They ARE refunding money, they ARE returning emails to support, Both of which I have personally tested, but again, no real answers.

I by NO MEANS am a TTG fan or try to defend them, I was led in by the IP. I am a TWD junkie plain and simple. I was outraged weeks ago and now I'm just tired...tired of waiting, tired of the silence, just tired.

Note to episodic game developers: DO THAT!

They don't just say, "Watch our awesome new show every Thursday night" and when Thursday rolls around... dead air, and no comment about why.

I dont think i'll tell robert kirkman not to use TTG he's going to be watching the game, if it turns out against his vision then he'll denounce it himself if the end product is something he's proud of then he's not going to give a crap about your tweets. you'd be better off tweeting to people about the delays and trying to spread the word to get people to not buy the game. not that it matters ME3 EC DLC is on the 26th and Dawnguard may be out soon and new Penny Arcade adventures game. so your tweets are spitting in the wind. terrible timing huh?

I realize that you're pretty angry, so am I. I'm in agreement with you for the most part except for one thing. TellTale seems to be following the spirit of the series really well. It's pretty early to know if they'll stick with it but I can't see another company doing this series justice.

I really don't want another watered down, T.V. series type production. That's the reason I haven't tried to get a refund. (#100 is really freakin' soon too)

I'll Agree that Robert probably does love the finished (for lack of a better term) product. But would he appreciate the way the fans of his IP are being treated?? Robert and and everyone involved in creating his comic have been awesome at communicating release info and overall interacting with the fans (Letter hacks). He is not afraid to print opposing views and I don't think in 99 issues I have ever read a fans comments that were negative regarding time delays or communication.

He might care to see the forums here and take note that the majority of postings are of negative nature.

Just out of curiosity, when Episode 2 is released did I understand correctly that this thread goes away? If so, would Telltale employees go through it at any point?
