In the beginning
When Lee blasted the driver with the shotgun in the opening scene why did the driver turn into a zombie?
After all, he was "just killed " not bitten by a zombie. Sorry if this has been posted before, or am I missing something? |

First, we don't know exactly how the driver died. He could have been alive after the accident, then bitten by a zombie, or he could have died, then pulled out of the car by zombies.
Second, according to the comics, it's irrelevant HOW you die, you turn into a zombie. Everyone is infected already. So, not a chance for the talkative police officer anyway.

I thought it was kind of obvious the driver was killed by zombies.
You see and hear a glimpe of the drivers death when lee is passing out. You hear screaming, see zombies, hear shots and the driver screaming. Obvious isnt it? |
