I was reading an IGN article about the demo shown at e3 on episode 2 and they stated that episode 2 takes play only three months after the events in episode 1. The article also said episode 2 takes place in the winter. How is this possible if episode one took place in the spring (mentioned by Clem's mom on the answering machine)? Spring Break is in March, three months later would be summer at the most.

spring break here is in June normally first week of June moved this year for Golden Jubilee.

Also do we really know how old that message is ?

think about how long it would take the baby sitter's 'flesh' to decompose

'other than the virus/cause of the zombies...'

Mr._Wok is right though. in the States its almost always in March (the start of April at the latest.) And even if it started in June, that would be September which isn't exactly winter either.

Didn't Clementine say she heard her get attacked a couple of days ago?

I don't know, it didn't seem like Clem had been hiding in her tree house for months.

What did Clementine's mum actually say? I can't remember. If there is no explanation I guess we could just say she got confused as she was so stressed/upset (although that's depending on what she said).

Yes.

Also, IIRC, the comics state the virus started in October with Telltale not getting that and saying "Spring Break" which of course, wouldn't happen in October. I'm assuming telltale made it winter to get back on track and fix the canon a bit

Yeah because by the time Rick and co. left the camp it was Winter and snowing, and that was like a month and a bit after the infection so it was December time when they left? Plus soon after that someone in the group mentioned it being Christmas and Rick told them not to tell anyone. Can't remember too much, my memory is bad.

We could just make up an explanation for this

Edit: Yeah since she mentioned the babysitters Spring Break maybe she just meant a holiday or something, and said spring break accidently. I don't know.

She said they would be back in time before spring break.

Jenner in the Walking Dead TV show says it has been six months since the first reported outbreak. This statement is made almost parallel with Rick meeting the Atlanta group.

When they said "Spring Break" I think my mind quickly determined the errors (some clues in the episode and preview and cannon) and switched it to "Summer Break". Assume Telltale slipped up there.
