Yeah, so the decision is all about morals. Clem looks up to Lee, he is her role model, so backing her up seems the right thing to do.

I took the food. It wasn't smart leaving a trunk full of food and supplies unguarded.

I also made sure Clem knew that we weren't like the bandits because we didn't hurt anybody to get it. Sure it's wrong to steal but I have the group to think about.

We're not stealing it.... we're delivering it to it's rightful owners and any food we eat or supplies we use are delivery fees

I dunno. I didn't take the food, because I didn't want to p*** off Clem, though after I had finished, I realised that taking the food isn't so bad, because you are just trying to feed the group, rather than starve. I was tempted, to play the last bit again, but that would be considered cheating, and it's better to play it through instinct...what I feel to be the right choice at the time.

I believe only half of the group refused the food. Clem, Lilly, and Ben refused, while Kenny's family was adamant about taking it.

I think its the bandits car. At the beginning of the episode when they are going to the St. Johns Farm and they run into the two bandits that were arguing. I don't really recall what was said, but I thought they were arguing about missing food or other items and one of them was being a smart ass and said they ate the food or something like that just before he was murdered. So I think the car might be what the bandits were fighting over.

Just a thought, or maybe I'm remembering the scene wrong.

That is why I didn't steal from the car too, since she did say that it could be someones car.

Something about the hoodie being red reminds me of the red shirts in Star Trek, The logo says Brooklin I think so you could argue its not unique enough to be a one off that someone may recognise. Eiether way I'll take the safe option and leave it.

personally i think that it was either the bandit's car or they just found it and left it there to get more people to help grab supplies from it, since we saw one get shot at the ending of Episode 2, but who knows maybe he saw Lee and his team and wanted to raid his place for food.
It's a wonder really.

I actually WAS going to get the food, but then Clementine mentioned the word "steal" and it just softened my heart. I mean, it's not stealing if no one owns it. And nobody seemed to own it.

But yeah, so I ended up not stealing. At least I got a cute scene with Clem & Lee looking at everyone while they pick up the food.

But I don't really think that it is going to be any consequence. I don't know, maybe in the begining of ep3 they're eating. And if you haven't stole the food, you just are a little away of everyone. Then Lilly or Kenny( depending of which one you sided with) will appear with some food and offer you his or her part. Then you can choose to accept it, refuse it, give it to Clem or share with 'em. Especially if you sided with Lilly, because she doesn't have anyone to count with and might be trying to be cool with Lee.

Yeah, I know... But have you ever looked at her eyes? I don't know, t'was a weak moment. It's like when your parents do something wrong in front of you, and when you confront them, they justify it. But it's weird because you learned that doing this is wrong... Know what I mean?

At least I thought that she might have felt like this. Even if it wasn't stealing.

In my first playthrough I didn't take the food. Clementine and Lilly made very good points. However, in my second playthrough, I kept the following in mind:

1. Only 4 people out of the remaining 8 got to eat that day. Many others, including myself, hadn't even for several days. Even the ones who did get fed didn't get anything substantial. If I was going on a few days without food I would take it anyway - that person obviously wasn't starving.

2. Personally, I would never do what that person did with their car. They didn't have the foresight to get spare cans of gas? I would pay extremely close attention to my gas tank and, if it got dangerously low, I would use the last of my gasoline to hide the vehicle somewhere and then go on foot. The car was left unattended in the middle of a road, with the doors open, the lights on, and the keys in the ignition. How dumb can you be? And, to quote Dr. John: if I don't do it, somebody else will.

When I first saw it, I thought it was an ambush. Then I wished for an option to wait to see if anyone came back - then you get all the supplies AND extra manpower. There wasn't even an option to only take some of the supplies. I really hated how black and white this decision was. I was surprised at how quickly we were pushed through this scene.

Everyone else is going to do what it takes to survive. Morality is important and stealing is wrong, but doing something wrong so that you don't die is justified.
