Default Mopping with Phoney Problem(?)

I'm stuck on Mopping with Phoney. Once I have the floor cleaned of all footprints nothing changes and the characters keep walking on the floor. Am I missing something else I'm supposed to do to get this part to end?

When you've cleaned all the footprints, the mopping game should end. If I remember correctly, you need to do it so the floor is clean *after* both guys have walked away from Lucius. If you have it cleaned but they are still standing by Lucius, they will walk back across the floor and dirty it again.

If both of them have walked away from him and the floor is clean and the game still doesn't end, this might be a bug. In that case, please send a saved game to feedback@telltalegames.com so someone can check it out.

I'll try it again and post back here either way. Thanks for your help!

Got it. What I had to do, because I saved/loaded during this part, is mop up footprints I could no longer see. I went for the empty spots and when Phoney started to mop at least one set of prints appeared and then disappeared as he mopped. After that I played it all out properly and the scene ended with both guys standing in front of Lucius when the floor was clean.
Thanks for your help.

I'm glad you figured it out!
