So it has to be Clementine, right? But if it's Clementine, and the entire series revolves around her growing up amidst the zombie apocalypse, where does that leave the player if Clem won't become the PC? As her mentor, apparently.

Will each season be about a different kind of mentor figure who adopts Clem as the series goes on? Lee in the first season, Kenny or Molly in the second season, etc.?

Sure, you could criticize this as becoming repetitious, but not if the PC is radically different from the one that preceded him/her.
My two cents: TWD isn't about Rick and Lee. It's about Carl and Clem growing up in the apocalypse.

Even though I would like a NEW parental figure for Clem in season 2, her personality will probably be different. She opened up to Lee due to her innocent personality in season 1. I wonder if it will be different in season 2.

Idea although finding a boat and then off to some island or just set drifting sounds like bliss, the lack of anything for supplies the group would struggle, even if they had someone like Kenny the fisherman on board so where has ALL the medicine, clothes, food, water, supplies to last years if need be? a Supermarket or Mall even though every dead game and film revolves around this at some stage if you had to act in real life it probably would be the place to go.

different options to get from A to B? car, train,on foot, running for your life LOL

Definitely.

I'm Calling it...you heard it here first.

The end game is to have Clem and Carl meet up in a few years after each has experienced hell and they will be the redeemers of Humanity.

Now how the amazing story writers of telltale and TWD get that all together...well those are the trees...im showing you the forest.

its fun to speculate...isnt it??

i vote for a new group. Separate from this one. at the end of series 2 have two of our new survivors meet Clem in the field and that starts series 3. giving the gamers a break from the "nanny" role is good. It will also give the writers more diversity with the new story so we can have a greater impact on series 3. In series 2 if our choices dynamically change who survives to make it in series 3 we will be the ultimate deciders of who the two shadowy figures are.

that'd be pretty Kool

I suppose if the writers wanted to avoid being boxed in by continuity issues from S1, this is the best route they could take.

Default Season 2 predictions- Possible helper for Lee and Clementine.

Hi guys and welcome to another theory! I am going to ask you guys just to watch my theory video because it is very hard to explain. Also please show your support and I've told you how to many times and you do it anyway so thanks you awesome people. You must give this theory a chance. But I think Lee and Clementine had a helper in episode 4 and 5. I think this mainly because near the end of the game where Clem and Lee are walking through the zombies and Clem sees her parents and Lee faints. I can't imagine that she carried him all the way to the shop where they hid by herself. So I think someone has been following them and has decided to help them so they wouldn't die. I believe that you see this person twice in episode 4. Once at Crawford when you are going to the autoshop and you see a shadow dart across the screen. You may be saying no way that's Molly but how did Molly then get on the roof that fast and how did the walker doctor get on the roof in the first place? And another time you may see him is when you are burying that boy Kenny found in the attic. That shadow looks like the man who kidnaps Clem but he coaches little league and I doubt a little league coach would have the balls to go out into the open of a zombie infested city and stare a big black man right in the face. So I think that also was him, whoever it was, maybe he is related to the characters, maybe not. Leave in the comment box what you think.

Hope you found it interesting and I'll post my next theory soon! STAY AWESOME!
Later.

I think you need to calm down with all these prediction threads. One will do.

I had an idea for a scenario for S2. When the group needs supplies/ammo/food maybe an option of who do you bring to get those items and who do you leave at camp/stronghold/farm. Bring the wrong group shit could happen on the trip or Leave the wrong people at the camp. Depending on your choice of who is going and stayin a number of things could happen. Fighting between members/not enough protection from hostles/ mutiny/ safe trip/ alot of items/ alittle bit of items/ no items/ Deaths at camp or on the supply run/ How many deaths etc.... Another way to make our choices count but not take to much away from story. Just an idea...

I had a sudden explosion of ideas for season 2, especially concerning Kenny, the new PC, Clem,
and how your last few decisions as Lee impact the story of the season. Whenever I have moments
like these, it helps a lot to write them down, so here are my thoughts.

Firstly, I think that there is a possibility that Kenny survived, but something occured to me;
almost everyone on this forum has talked about Kenny simply being badass enough to get past the
walkers unscathed by himself, but what if someone else came to his rescue? This spawned my first
major point; what if our new protagonist was near the scene of Kenny's "death" (either near the gate or
inside the building where Christa falls down, maybe they open the door to find shitloads of walkers and
Kenny fighting them off by himself) and saves him, since they have more ammo than he does.

My second thought is this; Kenny demands that our new protagonist help him get back to Lee and find
Clem. They eventually make it to the Jewellry store, only to find a) Lee's corpse or b) a walker Lee,
whom you have to shoot, depending on your last decision at the end of Episode 5. If Lee is already
dead, you search his corpse to find a handwritten note by Clem, informing them where to look for her:
the countryside (this note will be found in the corpse of the dead guard if you chose to leave Lee).
The first episode ends with Kenny and our new protagonist walking up the hill from the post-credits
scene and seeing Clem in the distance; episode 2 will then start with us discovering what happened to
Christa and Omid.

Now, on the new PC; I think it should be a woman, and someone who reminds Kenny of Katja; considering
the fate of Christa and Omid (I'm pretty sure they're dead), they have to come together for the sake
of Clem; she needs stable parental figures in her life and they are the closest possible thing at this
time.

So, that basically concludes my thoughts, let me know what you think. I actually think that some of this
could work in the pre-season 2 stuff we've been promised too, but a bit condensed. Either way, those
are my theories.

Pretty good ideas all around, but I don't really think Clem was in any condition to be writing notes after seeing Lee's death... Plus, where the hell did she get the paper and pencil

I don't know if this is appropriate to say this seeing that it might bring some controversy, but I wonder if we'll be meeting new survivors that are disabled? Those who are deaf or blind? Or those who have Autism or Aspergers?

If my speculation does turn out to be true, I wonder how Telltale will handle it?

Dude, there is slim chances of anyone blind/deaf surviving months of a ZA. Autism, yes. Don't know what Aspergers is :S

As far as I know, it's a milder form of autism, and its severity varies from person to person. The most common symptoms are social awkwardness, eccentric behaviour patterns, and sensitivity to loud/overcrowded environments. You'd have to ask a psychiatrist for the details.

Come to think of it, it's possible that Doug had Asperger's, from his knack for invention and ingenuity to his shyness among the rest of the group. Considering he gets killed one way or another, we'll never know for sure.

It's very hard to know what will happen. THe most logical and easy one would be to just continue where episode 5 left off with Clem starting to act how Lee taught her to.
