Jolene, a reference to LOST's crazy mothers?
LOST had some crazy mothers who have had their children stolen and/or killed and then they thought they had the right to steal and raise others' children.
Jake [Rodkin] and Jared Emerson-Johnson are both fans of LOST. Could this have just been a nod? |

Possibly, but I don't think LOST created the concept of distraught parents who've lost their children.
