Default Kenny's Offer to Makon

If Lee chooses to save the Greene boy over Duck, and Kenny even sees you make that choice ... he says "You've got a ride to Makon if you want it." or something. I thought, on this second playthrough, that it'd be different. Shoehorning inevitable outcomes, I get. Making it so absurd and clunky is unacceptable. Why would a guy offer me a trip just after I abandoned his kid ... and why would I take it if I was safe at Hershel's farm and hadn't been exiled?

I think since Kenny was totally focused on saving Duck he doesn't notice that you didn't go for Duck first. Besides, he was there to help so someone could rationalize that you didn't really abandon his kid.
I think Hershal still kicks you out even if you tried to help Shawn, besides if its just you and Hershal at the farm that doesn't really sound very safe. Plus your family is from Makon

I never agreed to the ride when he offered it then I didn't choose to save Duck. It seems there could have been another way to Macon (spelling), maybe Hershel gets biten by his son and you take his truck then meet up with Kenny anyway. Dunno, like I said in another thread, the game does have much depth and your dialog and choices are limited. I was hoping episode 1 was simple just to get you accustomed to how the game is played, but that isn't the case.

Also, in the barn I was told by Hershel that I should be more truthful, yet I told him the truth the entire time. So him going off on me with his advise didn't make much sence. In episode 2 I chose not to go to the farm, but it was voted on and I was forced to volunteer. Since I'm not the "leader" why was that decision placed on me by the acting leader Lily?

When your choices are made for you in a decision based game it simply voids the purpose. The only thing you're really in control of his who likes you and who you choose to let die. The Sims is a better decision based game. If they made The Sims Zombie Edition it would be awesome. 'I didn't eat or sleep, my sim is cranky and just wet himself...' TWD graphics and scenes are cool, but some things are just screwy. Like, why not sit down and eat Marks thigh meat? I wanted to, but noooo... Why can't I be a cannibalistic hero?

Hershel is in the comics, and the game follows canon, so that was never a possibility.

i thought of this too... i noticed he looked at Clem before he said that, so i think he only offered bc of Clem, not for Lee.

haha i was blatantly lying to hershel, and being as much of an ass as i could. In the barn, he said "you need to learn how to become a better liar, and not be such an asshole all the time!"
then i proceeded to go try to save is son. silly me!
