lol waiting for that...

joking/not real aside

ttg would be taking a huge risk killing any kid in a game.

i don't understand why anyone would justify killing children turning/undead/dying or other wise..

it's just plain wrong..part of my upbringing i guess..

what are the mods view on it ??

I don't really see how it would be a risk. In TWD series as a whole, children are no safer than the adults. It's not so much justification as it is "reality" (lack of a better word): in a zombie infested world, nobody is safe.

Yeah well, they would probably word it to where it sounded like the goal of the entire game is to kill children.

I agree. In the comic book series, which the game is based on, a baby is killed! Her mother is shot and falls on her.

And Shawn mentioned witnessing a kid getting his head blown off so it fits.

I don't want to see Clem die or anything but it seems fitting to have that kind of tough choice.

here's my reasoning

comics/ tv/ music vids/ probably even radio. have a different form/law/view of censor ship. horror/rape/murder like in the csi shows..no one bats eye lid. cos you are not involved in the act you are only a spectator.

my point being put any of that stuff in a game killing kids becomes 'interactive'.

which i think is why as far as i know bioshock barely got away with it..

You should still give mouth to mouth, but in this case mouth to nose would be far safer as you tilt the head back and "lock" the jaws with your fingers.

I thought about this as well. While Sophia did die in TWD, she didn't "die" on screen. Though Rick did shoot her corpse through the head..

No, that's a spoiler for middle of season 2. There are two little girls who get shot in the show.

I don't see why people should have a problem with it... part of what makes the Walking Dead imo is the deconstruction of society, its laws, morals. It would be silly for kids to be granted plot immunity in a setting where that element of order and its longevity (how long can peace last? will we always retain those values that define humanity, even in times of crisis? Or are they just a luxury?) is brought into question.

Also, how much above an adult's life would you place the life of a kid? You have the possibility to kill dozens of innocents in a video game; why should the life of 1 kid character be a scandal?

Besides, most kids are filthy little things... like mudcrabs.
