but having walkers below the tree house would make any exit from the tree house difficult and dangerous..

Don't be silly. You just have to close the gate between the house and the detatched garage. Problem solved.

Well, if you just stayed in the tree house rather than taunting and throwing things at the walkers by the gate they would leave you alone. You know how that gets them all worked up... oh yeah....turn down the music too.

Of the options given and as things currently stand in the game, I'm at the motel with its running water.

Well maybe stay with the bandits and pretend you are a good doctor so they keep you alive as a hostage and slave.
That would be the best way to survive

In the walking dead there is no "Best place to Survive" because there are people, and zombies, everywhere.

Firstly you can cross off Hershel's Farm, it's obviously inferior to the St. John's Dairy in terms of security.

It strikes me that wherever you are, the problem is the same. Wherever you imprison yourself, you need to have access to food so unless you're Romero'ing it up in the local mall or supermarket, this is simply a question of security. In that sense the safest place to be is actually...

Clems Treehouse

Walkers walk, they don't climb. Logically if you're a human, you want to take advantage of being more physically able and that means putting yourself somewhere the walkers can't possibly reach you due to their physical limitations. In that sense, climbing up a rope or a difficult set of steps, or even destroying the staircase in the St John house and using a drop down rope or ladder means you're out of reach. Clem had the right idea, the one place you don't want to be is on the ground.

That's the same situation anywhere. In terms of security, the treehouse is the best place to be.

even in that scenario i would still want night watch people, but you have to admit a few bloated floaters is easier to deal with than a hoard of hundreds of walking zombies
