Speaking of Kirkman, I'm curious where he'd be going with his new book, Road to Woodbury, and the events of the game..and comics as well, perhaps. And I do wonder if Lilly will ever be in the show, she's my favorite character besides Carley and Lee of course. Clem's a given.

This series was my first TellTale experience. Aside from the inconvenience of having to wait a little longer, it's a totally rad adventure. I never knew putting batteries into a radio was so fun. Carley on the other hand.

Call me a newbie then. Honestly, I never heard of Telltale before this game was announced. Deciding on checking out Sam and Max, though.

Reminder. Draw Carley with a AA in her nose.

The first aged a little awkwardly, but is playable. If it feels rough, Season 2 and 3 are much more polished. Actually 3 is too polished for my likes.

I saw the show first, but didn't like it very much apart from the first episode. I stopped watching about halfway through the second season. I was skeptical about the game but since I'd enjoyed other Telltale games I gave it the benefit of the doubt, and I ended up liking it much more than I expected. I started the comics last, and I've only read up to issue 50 or so.

Not to talk down to you, but you realize by now that the first episode was canon content and everything after that you didn't like was their own original crap, right?

Filler. I can feel it in my bones.

Yeah, I know that now, but at the time I wasn't familiar with the comic at all, so I wasn't thinking about that. I just thought the CDC thing was kind of dumb and then I got impatient with them just hanging around looking for Sophia for several episodes.

I like them pretty well. Definitely more than the show.

Yeah, I'm glad they moved past the Sophia arc. I'm sad for losing Sophia herself, but spending almost all of the season looking for her didn't do well for the series initiative.

And that's good, I think you'll enjoy the comics a lot more. It's fun to nitpick what deviations are gone down. Watch a few chapters of the comic, watch some episodes, spot things like "Hey, they didn't do that in the comic!"..it's fun. xD to me it is, anyway.

I'm a big telltale fan since Wallace and gromit came to Xbox and I started to play all the different games
But I got walking dead because it looked like a more harsh serious telltale game and looked worth a try

I Haven't brought any of the Telltale's products so far,TWD is my first.Personally I don't prefer the "zombie apocalypse" theme,I haven't been a fan of The Walking Dead series, aaaaand I have not read the comics....yet.I'm completely new lol! Iv seen the game on youtube and liked the way your choices impact the game,so I just tried it out to see how it goes...

And now I love it.

Virgin game player here. TWD was my first as an adult. Watched the TV series from day one. Love at first sight. Yes, it got boring when they spent so friggin’ long looking for Sophia but they were building the relationships. And that’s what drew me in. Amongst the total awesomeness of a ZA, the emotional aspects are what hooked me. Honestly don’t remember how I heard about the game but I was in! And it has the same emotional/relationship stuff that I love. Heard about the comics on this forum and have read Compendium One. Disturbing to say the least but I will probably get the next edition. And now I understand there’s random yet specific books? Crap. How many layers can TWD have??? But I’m in for all of them. I LOVE TWD. For those of you that like to read, there are a few really good fanfics on http://www.fanfiction.net/tv/Walking_Dead/ I suck at links so I apologize in advance if that one doesn’t work.

I only just got into the Walking Dead universe. A friend bought the first season of the show and lent it to me earlier in the year, and I liked it. Then I heard about the game. I love the game. After watching the second season of the show I ordered the compendium and read up to where the second season ended.

I must say, for me it's Game > TV Show > Comics. The comics are good but I think show really does a good job of building the characters and handling pace. I feel like the comics move too quickly (through no fault of their own, it's just the way the medium is).

And I liked how in the TV show, the conflict between Rick and Shane lasts longer (I was surprised at how quickly he was gone from the comics!).

But the game comes first for me. I love the decisions and the characters and just about everything about it (combat could be better, but that's a small gripe).
