Default Episode 3, horrible FPS

I'm trying to play episode 3, but I'm getting 1-2 FPS.

Turned down all the settings to low, aftereffects+shadows off.. even lowered the resolution but it's still choppy like heck.

Got the newest nvidia drivers, and skyrim runs smooth on full settings with hd textures.

Anyone else had this problem, or better yet, know of a way to fix it?

2Gefore GTX 460. i5 2.8 ghz, 16gb ram.

Only thing different from when I played episode 1+2 is that I added a second monitor, tried disabling 1 display (nvidia control panel) but that did not help noticeably on performance

That's far from even the minimum requirements for the game. You need to upgrade your specs immensely to be able to run the game smoothly.

..... But in all seriousness, do you literally get 1-2 FPS or an FPS slowdown?

When everything is at full graphics I got around 1-2 FPS (Literally).. Turned down absolutely everything to lowest value (graphics settings), and then I'm guessing it was around 10 FPS, not very enjoyable

Found out how to fix it.
If I disable the second monitor completely and reboot, the game works like normal.
Luckily I only had to keep it like that for 3 hours
