Ep 2 Wrestle with 2nd Brother Quick time Event Bug?

Hey guys, I'm stuck on this quick time event after getting the mother killed. Dealing with the 2nd son on the farm in episode 2. He gets distracted by the laser pointer and i knock the gun away.

After both of us falling and breaking through the fence where he drags me to the electric fence and I have to spam Q to not get pushed into the fence. The Q key does nothing, and I die. No matter how fast I press Q, it does nothing.

I saw the cutscene with Lilly refusing to save me only once and then it stopped working and I died. I tried rewinding the episode to the previous chapter and redoing it but once I get to the same part again, my Q key stops working (And this time the cutscene with Lilly isn't there, I just die)

Any familiar stories? Any fix? Thanks

This kinda happened to me too, except it was different, I kept on pressing the Q key (PC FTW) and...nothing would happen, the cut scene with Lilly
didn't show, the Q button felt like it wasn't working, and I died a couple of times, but then after the 3rd time I think, It finally worked. So I don't really know a solution, sorry.
