Default [Ep 3] Clem dialogue in box car: What did I agree to?

During one of the three conversations with Clem in the box car, she asked if it's okay to tell her parents something. The responses were: 'Yeah, sure' or 'I don't think that's a good idea'.

I'm not sure how I missed what she was asking -- because I hang on every word that Clem says for fear of making her a serial killer -- but I completely missed the set up. I said 'Yeah, sure' because the timed event was about to completely run out.

Was she asking for permission to reveal Lee's murder conviction?

Yes, likely to the man on the walkie-talkie at the end of the Episode. I said the same thing.

Considering it's after they study the map, I think she was asking if she could tell her parents their plan.

Thank you. It never occurred to me that she was looking for permission to tell the walkie-talkie guy too. Clever!

I wish it was definitely more clear, because whoa are those two very different things. I would much prefer this option (over giving some walkie-talkie-manipulator ammunition against Lee's character)-- but that does broach a whole new list of worries.

I just watched the Silent Treatment walk-through on youtube.

If you say nothing, Clem says: "They'll like it. I promise."

I think Cyreen is right. I can't imagine any parent 'liking' the fact that their 8 year old living out of a box car with a convicted murderer.
