Could have been a lurker, the zombies that just sit there until something comes their way, rabbit might not have even noticed him or knew he was alive.

There might be a chance that the rabbit died just before the walker came to it. In the comics, walkers tend to go for fresh, or "recently dead" meat.

The rabbit elected to hold off the walker while it's group escaped to another den, safe for the moment. His sacrifice will be remembered.

I was hoping it wasn't because it was dead all ready. but i'll take that answer.
btw lets say your dog gets bit by a zombie (like duck) will it also become a walker?
also if we're all already infected would human bites kill us too?

In TWD universe, only humans come back as walkers. When animals are bitten, they will die but won't come back. Walker bites have a deadly virus in the, unrelated to what turns people into walkers. The bite infection will kill the human/animal, and upon death the walker virus will take over inside a human. In animals, they're just dead.

Hope I answered your dog question, the way the zombies in TWD work kind of confuses me sometimes.

I saw a mostly bad zombie movie but it did have a zombie tiger in it! Now that thing was bad-ass! But in TWD only humans turn into walkers...good thing too...

I thought they caught the rabbit in a trap but they checked on it and a zombie had gotten to it. Not sure.

its possible.... I had a dog named Zack (just had him put to sleep a few days ago RIP) 16 year old lab. He's blind and Deaf, and can barely walk, but managed to catch a baby rabbit in my back yard and swallow the lil guy whole.

Damn lol, sorry about your dog, sounds like he would have been a hell of a fighter in his early years.

Yeah, I had a doberman that was put to sleep not long ago. That guy caught rabbits in his twilight years too.
