No reply yet from Telltale Games re this issue:

I have Episode 1 of BTS on my iPad 3. Please tell me how to use the Save/Load feature. It always saves at the same spot. No matter where I am in the game. What am I doing wrong ? Or is it a glitch ? Should I delete and reinstall ? Someone ? Anyone ?

I don't know the answer, not having played this on the iPad, but if you want to attract the attention of a real support person, try posting your problem over on the Game Support Forum instead of here, or send mail to support@telltalegames.com.
