Well in the Fallout 3 game some people did! Even though they were really called ghouls.

This thread is just dripping with racism and ignorance.

"How would a ghetto--by ghetto I mean black neighborhoods--survive the ZA? Well, they are athletically gifted so I'm sure they'd be okay."

This whole thread needs to be deleted.

Slums generally aren't featured in ZA settings for the same reasons that very few ZA stories show how ZA's actually start. There's no way in hell zombies would survive an organized, armed resistance in an urban setting where every building and storefront has steel barred doors and windows.

I think Ghettos are filled mostly with people who are just like you or I going to work trying to provide for their families the best they can.. The difference is income, and opportunity.

While violence may be more common place in locations like that I do not think that is an accurate picture of ALL the people that live in those places.. So I think that they would fair no differently than people in suburbs...

So, moderator, you I think it's offensive when another member states:

Yeah, b/c only black people live in Ghettos. Not.

And you know it's racist when he says:

Seriously.

And what do you do? Chime in, of course.

Why aren't you addressing this, Mr. Irish?

Not sure it has been put out of France, but - it's only a personnal opinion - I found it quite good.

Yeah, of course you did! What was I reading?

When I asked you to address this racist bullshit I totally meant chime in with your unique opinion because that's what I expect moderators to do: try to persuade people with their moving rhetoric. Nothing like delete offensive content or ban offensive members.

What is so wrong with implying all black people are violent and live in impoverished neighborhoods, right? As a white person, you're not at all offended. It's just one person's view.

So what if it condones hateful racial stereotypes?

Since you're cool with hate speech, I'd love to share my "view" about you and the job you're doing....

Where did TTG find you? From the Mitt Romney campaign? Who can I talk to besides you? You don't strike me as competent in you role as moderator.

Dude, chiiiiiiiil. If you want to use strong words, what's been said can be called "ignorant," not hateful. I've yet to see a message board where ignorance is a bannable offense.

I'm fine with you calling people out on specific lines or comments you disagree with, but you're coming dangerously close to a torch and pitchfork mentality. In fact, I'll take it one step further and say that if your preferred response becomes the norm on these boards I want no part in them.

Anywhere with dense populations would die quickly, regardless of how many guns people have. More people means more chances for mistakes and more ways for a door to be left open or for someone to die of a heart attack / in their sleep / whatever / and then wipe out a building.

If city dwellers initially survived the zombies, they would quickly run out of water and food. Cities depend on trucks to bring enough food and resources into a city for the people to survive. People would probably die so quickly that disease wouldn't be a problem, but human waste and rot would pile up rapidly when the city infrastructure failed. This would happen almost overnight without maintenance workers. People take for granted how much work goes into purifying water and monitoring and maintaining sewage and other utilities.

So, city dwellers hide in buildings for a couple days. Then they are forced out, where they are killed by zombies or die from starvation.

obviously we do not want people labeling and supporting.. stereotypes here..
Ironically you just did that yourself saying im from the "Mitt Romney campaign"

You are right... I am white, but I do happen to be the only white person in my household my wife and children are not..

If you had read my post I pointed out that just because someone is from a ghetto doesn't mean they are more prone to violence... I have NO clue why you're picking a fight with me Red Panda and I'm not sure if you have noticed but I am not censoring you either.. even though you are personally attacking me.

I agree with your arguments that there have been horrible stereotypes in this thread.. that is why I made the points I did in my first post...
