After many years of surviving, after all is lost, I would go into a highly "populated" area, and set off a big boom.

I would grow old, have children, then my children would have children, and I would sit around with my grandkids telling them how Grandpa once lived in a world with working cars, cell phones, TV, and "The Internets". By that time I imagine we'd be holed up in some survivor community which was safe (enough) from the walkers and roving groups of bandits. I would pass away quietly in my sleep... immediately followed by my son blowing my head off so I don't reanimate.

Failing that, I'd starve in my house waiting for the internet to come back up in the opening days.

It wouldn't be as bad as fiction makes it out to be. Culture is a very resilient thing.

Much like it was part of Salem's culture to drive stakes through the hearts of suicides before burial to make sure they don't rise, eventually people will become pragmatic and learn to not keep their zombified children chained up in basements.

I'll probably find a small fortified community in one of the less densely populated areas and either die/get zombified doing one of the particularly dangerous chores, or live to a ripe old age and have my family put me down during a particularly bad fever. Hopefully after I manage to impregnate someone.

I would in all likely cases go out as a zombie. I would hope to be that ultimate a$$ kicking total bad a$$ that just goes all chuck norris on these zombies but realistically when it gets to a point where humans are so outnumbered, ill probably get through like 5 zombies at best than be devoured.
