Default Cutting Clem's hair

Wasn't it optional on the train?

thus far her shooting skills have come into play( and i'm guessing if you failed to teach her how to shoot correctly she would have missed and molly would have died at crawford or something like that), but not her knowing the layout of savannah vaguely or having her hair cut for safety. If my memory serves me correctly it was optional to cut her hair or leave it. so my question is, do you think that small decision will play some large part in her living or dying in episode 5?

It might enable her to better guide Lee towards her location.
It might be hard to show the pay-off for cutting her hair. Unless they actually show a bad-guy reaching out and specifically not getting a hold of her hair. Or perhaps Mr. Kidnapper doesn't like her with short hair - as in luckily doesn't like her like her...

It wasn't optional to cut Clem's hair. You needed to do it to move the story along. I gave Clem the map before cutting her hair on my 2nd playthrough and the story doesn't advance until you've cut it.

ah okay, well never mind then. I though there was an option to "do it later" or something but i guess you have to say yes eventually to continue.
