Default Did anyone notice the cameo appearance from the TV show in Episode 4?

I know the game is based on the comics, but in the bell tower in Episode 4 we get to see Hershel's infinite-ammo shotgun from the end of Season 2

Also the geek reference, haven't heard that name for the walkers since season 1.

Lee's pockets can hold anything, from a blowtorch to unlimited shotgun ammo

Lee's handgun had about 100 rounds in it before Clem finally shot those bottle on my worst playthrough too :P.

Oh yeah! I wasn't really convinced by Molly's explanation of the term though. I've always heard carnival sideshow people called "freaks" not "geeks."

Dude, just be at an Apple Store the day the iPhone 6 gets out, you will now how dangerous a horde of brainless geeks is.

Because Season 3 of TWD starts this Sunday, I've been watching all of season's 1 and 2 on Netflix. And I have to say, going back watching all these episodes really made me see MANY similarities between the game and the TV show.

Kinda too many to remember each one and post here, but examples like the game starts off with Lee in the back of a police car.. in the Show, they are cop's.

The group sits down to dinner with Hershal's family.. In the game, they sit to dinner with the St.John's.

They had Sophia get bitten, we had Duck..

I was just noticing there are MANY similar scenes and situations.

I wish I had a shotgun with unlimited ammo, his shoulder must be bruised to hell.

I think there are several bits which are similar to the comics too.

No, she's right. A geek in this context is one part of a carnival freak show, traditionally involving biting the heads of chickens & swallowing them. Since then a geek show tends to cover anything that an audience may fight horrific or distasteful but are also entertained by it.
