Can only use one save. walking dead xbox

So yesterday i purchased episode four amd completed it. I have two saves and decided to play the other one, whis is game save 1. When i click game save 1 it goes to the 5th episode on the choose episode screen and says coming soon. So i go back to episode for and it says continue. Shouldnt say that considering i havent even started episode 4 on that say. So i go back and game save 2 is highlighted instead of three. When i continue it just goes to the end of episode 4. So basically i cant use save 1. Much to my dismay i delete both saves and start a new on on game save 1. I play for a bit then decided to get off. I just came back and now.its on game save 2! I cant even start a new game on the other saves either! Can somebody tell me whats going on here? Sorey for the lengthy question. Thanks.

I have had the exact same problem it seems to be a very common issue with the xbox version, I have also had problems with the achievements :-/ It is quite annoying considering that the game itself is brilliant it is just ashame this happened, I'm not sure if the game was tested for bugs but they should patch it up as soon as possible

Having the same problems here. I've got 3 save files, but only my most recent one works. Selecting the others has the same outcome as selecting my most recent save file. Really gutted because I was looking forward to using my alternative saves.

I have this same issue. I have four saves and only two of them are playable now, the one on my hard drive and the one on my memory stick. The rest read as completed when I try to access them. They all seem to go off the save I've completed.

Try to recover your profile on your Xbox (delete the profile and then download it again). When you recover it, you should be able to play through the episode again and unlock the achievements, getting the points that you didn't get before.

Edit: I rewound a bit (to Chapter 6: Ben Screws Up) on the only save that it was letting me access and finished the game again. All the saves are working correctly now. Maybe you only have to redo the last chapter (Chapter 7: Penultimate) to fix it, I dunno.

This is a bug that exists only on Xbox and we're looking into a potential fix. Please note that your other saves are there in the inaccessible save slots, and deleting them will not fix this issue.

Nice to hear an official word on it. Hopefully this is sorted before Episode 5 comes out.

This works. I rewound and only replayed chapter 7 Penultimate and I could again access the other save files.

I just downloaded Episode 4 of The Walking Dead on Xbox Live. When I went to play, I couldn't play from my Game 1 save with which I've completed Episode 3.

The game automatically highlights my Game 2 save which only has Episode 1 completed. When I click on my main Game 1 save to continue from Episode 3, it acts as though I've only completed Episode 1.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but all three tiers of my saves were filled (I'd read something on forums that this might have something to do with it). I deleted my bottom Game 3 save and tried it again, but no luck. (My wife's save under her Profile seems to work fine, allowing her to continue from Episode 3 to Episode 4, but she only had her top tier filled.)

Also don't know if this has anything to do with it, but before playing, I copied my Game 1 Episode 3 save to Xbox Live's Cloud Storage. I tried playing Episode 4 from that save from both the Cloud storage and from my Xbox hard drive, but again no luck. My wife's save was not from Cloud storage, and again hers works fine.

Wondering if there's a way I can fix this, or if I have to wait for a patch.
