Finding someone loyal in these times are tough, heck I would expect him to betray me as much as I would expect Kenny, Christa, or Omid to end up siding with the Radio Man. The group that I have right now is pretty solid, and allowing for a kid to fully redeem himself sounds justified.
Loyal?

1.Doesnt tell you about the trade.
2. Leaves Clem to die by the zombies, that couldve been you.

I saved him because i could.

Ok, let's run through how all the events actually took place a little bit how I saw them. Maybe it'll change some perspectives a bit.

- Ben was giving the bandits supplies so that they left the group alone.
- Lilly found out that there was something wrong with the supply count.
- Lee finds the supplies and takes them to Lilly.
- The bandits, not getting their supplies, attacked.

Yes, Ben should have told the group about the bandits and the supplies. But, if Lee had left the bag alone then the bandits would not have attacked that day. Lee and Lilly could have then taken turns to watch the grate for the person to put more supplies in the grate and confronted that person the next day with the entire group present.

It was Lilly and Lee's fault for removing the bag of supplies. The bandits were also ready to make a deal until Lilly shot one in the head. If we had made one last deal we could have all piled up in the RV and left with everyone alive taking every last drop of supplies with us. Which could have changed everything there after. We could have left him behind instead of Lilly and he would have never had the opportunity to run away from Clem or pull the Axe out of the door.

I probably would've let him die if there was a choice between him and anyone else from the group.

I saved him instinctively because he'll be useful as a meat shield, letting him go was pointless.

We cant go around killing our own people and whatever else Ben is, he is one of us. Like Mark said, we have to stick together to survive.

Assuming the must-do is stick together to survive, of course.

As I stated before letting Ben die was the easy way out for this bastard. He has to suffer and live, if Doug deemed him worthy enough to jump infront of a bullet for this clown, he has to live.

Anyone that comes as close as Ben did to wiping out Lee's group at Crawford has to go. He caused a catastrophe at the motel, almost caused another in Crawford, and 5 people, 4 of them being group members, are dead due to his nonsense. I was biting my nails hoping for an option to leave Ben behind when the group was planning to raid Crawford, and in the next episode there'll be one less issue that I have to worry about.

Exactly, I bet if Ben was the only one you left behind to look after the boat, he would of got locked out the house so made a campfire with the boat. He is such a dumbass, he deserved to die.

Hold on a second. You're actually saying that he deserved death? Jesus, he deserved a punishment, but not death itself. You're sick if you're willing to kill someone just because he's not truthsworthy. Some people let him go because he wanted to be left behind, but letting him fall to death just because you're mad at him is just plain murder.

Umm, it's not real, and plus it was my decision not yours.

In real life I would of tried to save them but I doubt i would of been strong enough to anyway.

I realise some of you guys like to think that it is real, but I don't. So please stop calling me sick and a murderer because it does not mean I am in real life and that was quite rude of you to say that when you do not even know me.

If its not real... Why even bothering discussing about it? Because we discuss about what we would do in real life, if we were in Lee's place. I never called -you- a sick murderer, that was meant to the people who would kill Ben because they didn't like him in an actual ZA.
Edit: apparently I did call you a sick murderer directly. I still meant the other people, anyway

Anyhow, you're the one that started complaining about "the 66ers" like they saved Ben "in real life". You're pretty much arguing against yourself...

2 cents: it isn't real. but the reasons for making decisions are, and they still reflect us.

It doesn't necessarily mean we're sick bastards who should be put down, but it does shine light on our priorities.

Yeah man, when I kill digital characters in KotOR for darkside points it totally reflects who I am as a person irl. Or i'm playing a scripted game. You know, one or the other.
