Hi,

I get an error message when trying to launch the game. Error signature is:

AppName: csi4.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: d3d8.dll
ModVer: 5.3.2600.2180 Offset: 0002fdb2

I have read through the other threads and tried to launch the game directly from the csi4.exe but it has the same effect. I have also tried renaming the um.dll file but no joy.

My system specs are:

Pentium 4 3.20Ghz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 graphics card, Windows XP SP2.

All the other previous CSI games have worked fine.

If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

Hey, have you tried updating your drivers / directX?

Hi,

I am running DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I don't know how to update the graphics drivers but everything else seems to run ok?

I can help you with that. You can find the most recent driver for your card here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_163.71.html.

Download the file, install it, and see if that fixes anything. If you need any help, let me know!
