Default Choices too black and white?

Honestly even though these choices are emotionally captivating and heartwrending, I don't really feel they are going anywhere story wise... Kenny will still always be your friend even if you side against him, and people will still die/leave even if your able to save them.

I feel like we all are getting the same gameplay experience, but with slightly different dialouge or a few different characters...

What do you think?

While the plot is linear and will always be headed the same way, the experience you have during the journey will change. The choices change the way the characters see Lee and react to him, which therefore changes the way the player may react to those characters.

The best example is Kenny. I don't know where you got that about him always being your friend, but on my playthrough he doesn't really like me and I don't like him either. But a lot of people like him and on their playthrough Kenny is, like, their bro-4-life. It really changes the perspective you have on the character.

Kenny's still your friend no matter what?

Haha...your experience with the game is quite limited.

Ehh Kenny hates me & I hate him on one playthrough because I went against him a few times and sided with other people. On one he is my best buddy and on the last playthrough I redeemed myself in the last episode and he became my buddy.

I'd say this game is kinda limited, but you gave the worst example ever. Kenny is the character that gets affected the most by the decisions you do.

Also it has to do with the budget. Would you put thousands and thousands of money into a game like this? I mean it's quite different from what we see in modern games.
So now that they sold million+ units, I am sure the sequel will have a bigger budget to work with, allowing bigger differences when you pick option A over option B.

Lol I felt that Kenny hated me for a second and then he liked me and talked about getting a boat. Lol but yeah good point. Can't wait for sequel...

What...? I have always tried to side with him and he always yells at me and tells me I've never been with him since the Larry incident.
