I was just wondering if there is another way to fix the episode 4 achievement glitch besides recovering your gamertag.

Unfortunately if you are experiencing this issue while connected to xbox live, the only way to correct it is to recover your gamertag and re-acquire any missing achievements.

I am only on episode 2, well... kinda on episode 2 (read the thread I started yesterday). When I get to ep. 4, I won't get any achievements? Why would I need to recover my gamer tag? Just asking before I get myself in another unwanted jam.

You won't. The issue some users ran into is that achievements were not posted to xbox.com when the game first launched. People who immiedately obtained and played episode 4 only saw the achievements credit locally, but not on xbox live. The achievements have been properly posted since about 6-10 hours after the game first launched. If you play episode 4 now, you should have no trouble getting the achievements to credit properly.
