This sucks but I agree. Against 3 hard hitting action packed games, the walking dead which is low on action but strong in story and emotional plots will not take home the gold. On the other hand it has a strong chance for best adapted and downloadable game if enough people vote who have played the game. Can only hope, would love to see Tellltale games get an award for there hard work on this game.

I don't know about you guys but I think TWD has a strong chance of winning this GOTY.

I didn't vote for TWD for best game... but for some of the other categories. Sorry as much as I like the game but for me Dishonered is a better game overall even if they are entirely different genres. If TWD had impactful choices then it would easily be best game of the year.

I voted and I voted honest... so many votes for TWD and Journey from me...

I believe TWD will have good chances to win the title. Episode 5 came right before the votings and emotional things usually take a big place in our heads and hearts...

I don't care about all those bugs and glitches,the real thing is,that it gave me SUCH an amazing story to go along with, this whole year basically (not like these games that you beat within week) ..So my votes go for TTG and TWD

I voted for Walking Dead in most categories but let "game of the year" unvoted for the moment. I haven't tried Assassins Creed 3 enough and I really liked the previous ones.

The storyline of AC3 is pretty good, but Desmond's story still hasn't been fleshed out. And it's pretty underwhelming to play as Desmond.

I'm just gonna leave this here and hope people will read it before they cast their GOTY votes. This is by far one of the best critiques I've read on the game, and it explains perfectly why the choices you make in TWD actually DO matter and WHY they are impactful. It's an enlightening piece, even for the biggest fans.

Because game developers don't pay animals nor aliens to sit/stand in a recording booth and repeat lines 1,000 times.

I think TWD revitalized the genre, and I hope other games follow its example.

Characters now have their own personalities, and their own opinions on you. They are more than just NPC followers to be used at your disposal.
