Ben's backstory was kinda sad (Spoilers)

Only if you let him live but this showed why he was so clumsy and not that smart. Feel bad for him though. Kenny forgave him and had a lot of respect, choosing to use the bullet to kill ben (who said he was more afraid of becoming one of them than dying) and letting himself get eaten by the zombies. I wonder how the scene would've played out if Ben was the only person watching the boat.

It played out the same way, only Kenny was pissed at Ben for losing the boat. And yea, it is pretty sad

Basically he didn't get to see his family because of the ZA and he also told Kenny to fuck off... Legendary

He's in the same situation as Clem, he never got to see his parents and sibilings before the ZA because of the football game, and him being in the marching band. And he didn't know if his family was either, alive, dead or Walkers. and then loosing his Teacher and best friend in EP 2, surely didn't help his confidence either

and he told kenny how while he was so, so, so, SO sorry for duck and kat's deaths, he was at least able to say goodbye to them. ben reveals he was never able to and doesn't even know if they are still alive or not. he then tells kenny to please not take it out on him, as he is feeling all this pain and it keeps hurting him more. this actually makes kenny feel sad and responsible for ben's emotions and wanted to make it up to him.

I find the way he told Kenny off absolutely amazing. He gave him his back story, and told Kenny that he wasn't the only one that had problems with his family dying. Ben stated he doesn't know if his family was alive, dead, walkers, or worse. I really feel bad for Ben dying though. He told Kenny how he felt, and Kenny realized there are other people that feel the same way he does. Respect for Kenny using the last bullet on Ben and not himself.

That moment was really amazing. But huh, I swear I saw Kenny shooting a walker, and not Ben. I guess I need to pay more attention to those things. Now I kinda feel bad for telling Christa that that gunshot she heard was Kenny shooting a walker XD

Really not a "sad" back story as it is normal. Most survivors didnt... Lee didnt. Clem didnt. Carly didnt. Doug didnt. Christa/Omid didnt (except ofcourse eachother) so sad ? yes saying he has a back story claims he had something else in his life or something. Personally, I never dis-liked Ben cause I knew his heart was in the right place. I loved it when he gave it to kenny. I almost always played neutral the whole game whether it be between kenny and lilly, or kenny and anyone but I let kenny have it. good for ben. wish he coulda made it.

I thought his backstory was common knowledge if you listened to what he told you in the other episodes though, I feel Ben deserves a appreciation thread for his performance this episode.

Yeah, that really surprised me. We all knew I cared about my family, and when he told me in Crawford, I wanted to kill him on the spot. Then he told me to fuck off, thought I was gonna attack him again? No, because at that moment... Ben did something ballsy.
