We'll likely all be guessing right up until the second Telltale reveals/doesn't reveal the answer, but what way did you guys interpret the epilogue after the credits?

I've seen a few people think it's Christa and Omid, however I doubt this for several reasons.

1. Plausibility: I told Clem to meet Christa and Omid out of town, by the train. The epilogue does not take place here, but in a seemingly deserted field. The chances of Clem randomly encountering Christa and Omid in a location that wasn't specified to either party seems unlikely.

2. The look of horror on Clementine's face. Why would she have reacted that way had she thought it was Christa and Omid?

3. The shotgun casings. This may not necessarily be a clue as to who these people are/where Clementine is, but they seemed important. Thoughts are welcome on this also.

I personally think the two characters in the distance will be the two characters Telltale picks up with in Season Two. I think they will be two characters that we have not yet met, and they will stumble across a young, terrified girl at the beginning of next season.

What do you guys think?

1 I agree with.

On 2, I don't think Clem can see who the figures are from that distance. I think the look of terror on her face comes from the fact that these two mystery figures that she's so unsure of have stopped walking and turned to look at her.

Yeah, you make a good point. She has every reason to be terrified at the thought of strangers. She hasn't exactly had the best experience. I hated and loved the epilogue, and how it'll have me scratching my head until Season Two.

She saw the shotgun shells lying around and probably thought there might be humans (or zombies) nearby.

Her looking shocked could be any number of things. Maybe it was just meant to be misleading. Maybe she saw Christa and Omid zombified, wandering out into the countryside.

I would like it to be christa and omid... they had intentions of heading to the country side. After Lee&Clem didn't turn up,they could have taken the quickest way out of the city..but yeah ...the likeliness of them ending in the same field, and spotting each other...is probably as close to zero as you can get.

I would like one of those mysterious figures to be the character you play in season 2. That would be a great place to start, finding Clem just after what she has experienced. They would have to be completely new characters though.

Although I do have a gut feeling it might be Christa and Omid, even though I told both of them to meet up with us and told Clem to look for them. Damn can't anyone do what I ask? :P

Are there no different version? Is she always in the field even if you ell her to go to the harbor?

Yeah, I told Omid and Christa to look for another boat, and told Clem to find them, and still had the countryside epilogue.

Thats sad. I was hopeing for a bit more interactivety with the final outcome after Episode fours ending. They did not need to restrict themselfs that much.

Well, I guess they waited long enough.

Maybe it was Christa and Omid,that seemd like a women,and the guy was pretty small and not walking to straight up as Christa.

Of course it's them. Omid was walking behind Christa. What gave it away?

The one behind the other was clearly limping, and the one in front turned back to look at him as if concerned when he paused in his steps.
