Maybe this isnt the thread for it but I'd be interested to hear why you dislike it so.

i found episode four to be my favorite haha. it was just so fun getting with the group to break into a "utopian" society only to find out something went really wrong and it's time to break out and escape! also molly was a super sweet character

I don't dislike it, as it were, I just like the others far more.

And it's a pacing/lack of zed issue.

Interesting concept, but seemed out of place to me.

Upon reflection, it would have worked far better as episode 3 (of 6) and TTG showing us some of that three month gap as an episode 2.

Episode 5 was the most emotionally-trying episode and is a masterpiece for being able to make many of us cry unlike most games can pull off.

The last time I cried playing a video game was the first time I played FF7 and that was what 13 or so years ago!

Gotta agree with the norm Episode 5 was my fave closely followed by 2 and 3, I like 3 because of the deaths...I'm sadistic I know! Lol

My order is 3>2>4>5>1 episode three had the most impact for me on the experience and although I liked episode five it was too short, and too predictable. I'll admit Lee's rampage was probably the most awesome sequence I have ever played and the ending was very emotional there just wasn't much story and frankly the reveal of who took Clem was a let down and completely unbelievable.

My order is 2>5>4>1>3

Episode 1 i thought was a perfect set up of the series, you got too see Lee and Clems really awkward conversations at the start and by the end you could see the bond growing. The other characters were introduced and you could pretty much decide who you were gonna like (Carley/Doug) and who you were going to hate (Larry). I think this episode is really underrated, after all it is the reason everyone continued to buy and play the season.

Episode 2 I personally thought was the most fun to play, and the one which i've probably played the most. I loved the St. Johns plot and thought it was genius, but i also really liked how you could see relationships you made in the first ep. had developed in the 3 months that had past.

Episode 3 i found to be my least fav, maybe because of the sheer fact that the group went down to so little in such a short amount of time. Eventhough it was to be expected, being the mid point of the season and all, but that doesn't mean you have to enjoy seeing your friends die! and where do i start with carley no, i won't even go there actually!

Episode 4 i thought was a really good set up to the finale, but as a stand alone episode i wasn't the best, dont get me wrong i didnt dislike it, neither did i dislike ep 3 for that matter, but they just weren't hitting the heights of 2 and 5. I really liked molly as a character and was gutted she didn't make another appearance, especially after reading that she was confirmed to be in ep 5 :S

Episode 5....... wow, where to start, i dont even know how to explain this. end scene was the most powerful thing i think i have ever experienced, the way you can see how desperate clem is to not give up on you, when she says "you can lean on me if you want" i choked up and the tears started to flow, shes just so ADORABLE!! the ending i thought was perfectly written and beautifully preformed, and a fitting end for season 1.

I thought it was an excellent plot twist and everyone I've seen so far never saw it coming. Different strokes.

I think people liked episode 2 a lot because it's more like a movie than the others. It has a main antagonist rather than just the general walker threat, a build up, a climax, etc.

3 and 5 are very close, I enjoyed the emotional moments, it's not often a game does that to you. 2 was pretty good, with the farm ending being a very powerful moment. 1 was alright, having to rekill Lee's zombified brother was the high point for me. 4 was kinda meh, it didn't really have anything memorable aside from the leadup to episode 5.

While I list episode 5 last, I did enjoy it, but it was far and away the shortest episode.

They were all very good though. I liked 3 the best just because it had such a huge impact of emotional moments, all the things we knew before weren't the same anymore.

I agree that it had the slowest pacing of them all, which made me be less into it. But at the same time, as the episode progressed I found that the slow pace built a tension. Someone in this thread said they found episode 2 to be predictable. I knew that something was up and that whatever it was was going to put the group in danger, but I was still shocked when I found Mark...well, you know. That didn't occur to me at all. But you're also right about the lack of zombies (I assume that's what you mean by zed, anyway; are you from the UK?).

For me it went 3, 5, 2, 4, 1. 4 had so much potential, but I needed more of a backstory with Crawford. It's such a huge thing and we only get small details that we have to use to piece together a much larger story. I had hoped to have to confront some of those inside instead of having everyone be a walker. Best thing would have been to come across Crawford while it was in the throes of survivors vs. walkers that we only see the before/after of.

I think Episode 2 was the best overall. Episode 5 was a great finale, but that doesn't instantly make it the best episode.
Yeah and I agree on the Crawford part about Episode 4, I think it would have been better if the survivors were alive. I like the story of Crawford as it is, but it's not that great when you find out everyone is dead.

Episode 2 was the best hands down. The story was so dark in it...

After that probably Episode 5 since it was a sad moment in so many ways.

3-5-2-1-4

Three was just gut wrenching and the most emotional episode for me. Shock and sadness hit me right in my feels. Closely followed by five. In fact the standard is pretty constant at least up til 4, which was a dissapointment.

I am absolutely astonished by these results. 5 was clearly the worst imo. You just held down the walk forward button and chose dialogue options that ultimately made no difference.

3 was the one that made me cry, but 2 was excellently crafted. It's a close tie between those two, with 1 not far behind.
