Yeah, he does. He attacks whomever you left at the mansion and locks them in the shed while he and his people take the boat.

I didn't like this. I just thought it was so out of character for Vernon. A man who lost his daughter, and so understands the importance of family. He leaves behind a safe haven for the risk of travelling on a boat. He shows compassion towards Lee's plight for looking after Clementine.

... AND THEN HE STEALS YOUR ONLY MEANS OF ESCAPE?!

I know, I know, Zombie Apocalypse, can't trust anyone, blah blah blah, but this seemed a bit of a stretch for me.

Remember when he asked if they came by train? He saw the herd coming and their spot IS NOT safe because of said herd.

He knew about the boat because of coming to the house for omid, boat seemed like he and his group's best bet.

He takes it. I'd like to see him again, though... And beat his ass with the boat. I AM HULK!

I hope the boat sinks or runs out of gas and they are all just stranded there in the middle of nowhere. Starve to death. As soon as one turns... well you get the picture.

So even if you left Kenny, Christa, Omid, and Ben, Vernon and his old cancer crew managed to over power them and steal the boat? I only had Kenny left so it made sense, but I can't see them over powering all 4 of them.

What the hell, Vernon? I thought you were a good guy. Could have at least told us about the horde of thousands of walkers coming to Savannah...

Makes sense, way to many walkers now.
The one thing I don't get is that he saw all the walkers but why did he say to let Clem. come with them if he wasn't going to anyways?

not if you threatened him in episode 4. If you threatened him in episode 4 and left no one at the boat, he will write a note saying he had revenge for what you did to him earlier.

christa mentions they had guns and were desperate enough to shoot (unlike last time where vernon was afraid to shoot lee, and seeing how kenny was all beat up it proves this case). If you treated vernon bad in episode 4 and threatened him the group she will mention that vernon told them he was not willing to make the same mistake as last time. (which the group obviously had no idea what he was talking about.

I doubt they'll be revisited but it's a loose end nontheless. Maybe our remaining survivors haven't seen the last of them. They'll need all sorts of supplies. Even if it's not fuel. (A lot of boats that size come with oars tucked away in the sides. Great emergency equipment.)

They may not have anyone who's savvy with mechanics either. Not to mention that while they're safe from zombies out there, they'll be at the mercy of anyone who can aim a gun from the shore. They can't risk themselves OR the boat taking bullets. And they wouldn't fair too well if they didn't land for shelter from that freezing ocean breeze at night.

I hope Vernon and his group were swarmmed under by walkers before they reached the water.

At the very least, they have some supplies. The shelves in the fallout shelter are shown as being empty at the end of episode 4(whereas they were filled with several months worth of food and such beforehand) so this may indicate that they took all that with them on the boat, or at least some of it.
