Telltale Games

I saw a few articles online from September where it was announced there would be a disc based option for the game on PS3/Xbox, but not a lot of info since.

The release date was 12/4 and I understand there will be a standard version and deluxe version with the comics etc.

I would like to buy the standard Xbox version for someone as a Christmas present, but it's hard to plan ahead when there is such limited info online about the game. Seems odd not to have more information available if the release date is right around the corner.

I bought from Best Buy who says December 11 for release date mind you and the "official" response from Telltale:

Which is actually sad, because the trolls essentially had their embarrassing posts removed for them. Early Xmas present for the little kids.

Anyway I find it humorous after everything that Telltale support says 12/4 still, unless they're right and Best Buy is wrong which of course is possible.

I'm no troll, my "embarrassing" posts were simply answering your questions and pointing out your inability to FIND the information you wanted. All the info you need is READILY available and EASY to find. That doesn't mean I'm a troll, but it DOES mean that you're bad at doing anything other than complaining on message boards.

Since your reading comprehension is limited, slow down and read the original post again. It was not a complaint. You and one other petty person took time out of your day to be confrontational and rude for no other reason than boredom I presume.

Not being a prick online is ok. Give it a chance.

Telltale has stated that it will be released on December 4th. Since it's an announcement straight from Telltale themselves, you can trust it as the official release date.

The online retail sites are often known to guesstimate release dates, and they all have a tendency to follow each other when one site changes the date. Regardless, even if the game is released on December 11th as the online retail sites say, that should still leave enough time to get the game for Christmas.

And, I'm closing this, since the question has been answered and people can't seem to stop insulting each other.
