They can choose to follow group for season 2 instead of following Clem. At the end of that season, there will be two survivors that you see in this ending. The two survivors of one story meets up with Clem, the survivor in this story. Then there will be a final, third season with their journey!

This was actually an idea I had at one point. Rather then the shadowy figures being Omid and Christa they could be the last two members of a different group of survivors who also happened to choose the countryside as a place to retreat after things went downhill. Hell they could have one shadow be from one group and one shadow from another group and they just happened to meet up before Clem sees them.

Ricks group already has the comic. And Kirkman would not be okay with it, I think.

I'm curious if Campman's son might pop up during season 2. He said they never found him and him joining up with a new group with Clem would be very ironic.

Jow about ep one. Like Lee two survivors walking cross country see Clem at end of Ep 1. A whole season is too long.

that would be cool, maybe not revealed until Clementine and Adam are friends
