Default That Ending... (No Spoilers)

I'm not a big fan of forums and I'm sure Tell Tale Games has been thanked enough on the awesome job they did, but I haven't experienced anything like The Walking Dead game in a long time. Purchased yesterday, finished today.

I didn't almost cry at the end, I did cry.

I don't know if a season 2 is in the works, but it should be. I don't usually pre-order but I am hooked already, so I'll be one of the first to do so.

Aye season 1 was damn fine but...

Do you REALLY want to relive the punishment of not knowing any release dates until short notice?

I know I wouldn't. Either waiting for a sale, waiting for a near-finished product or hoping to get some assurance that the deadlines are more structured. It's fine when you've finally got all the episodes but you'll soon remember what the hell was like.

It was hell but I'd rather have it when it releases than risk others spoiling it for me. Plus I gotta know what comes next...always!!

I sorta went through it the first time when they released Law and Order: Legacies. It's got a few similarities to The Walking Dead -- mostly just the aesthetics -- but it was also an episodic game series and it took them forever to update each case. Or, at least, it felt like forever.

I wanted to pull my hair out, so I get where you're coming from.

I never watched the television show or read any of the novels/comic books, so the whole WD universe is new to me.

Some things confuse me, though.

Mostly why Clementine is 8/9 but still in the first grade.

I'm sure it's come up before, but still has me scratching my head. She's a smart kid. An 8/9 year old should be in 3rd grade, at the very least, going on the 4th.

Because she is street smart, not book smart!

An 8/9 year old child would probably be transitioning from the 1st grade to the 2nd grade. I started 2nd grade at age 7 because my birthday was 'late' in the year. We also kept the same teacher we had in 1st grade as well as our 2nd grade teacher.

I'm going to take a guess that this was summer time when the events occurred and Clementine's birthday may have been in Sept - Oct. In the southern part of the states, school usually start early as July through late as September. But this is just speculation.

i'm sure at some point she says she finds 1st grade boring... which would imply that she is smarter than the average bear and the work is being set too low for her (i work in an elementary school).

Yeah, but at the most, you're ONE year behind. Clementine is about three.

In America, anyway, 7 = 2nd grade is about accurate. Then 8 = 3rd, 9 = 4th, so on.

I'll give you that! I guess under the circumstances, knowing how to put two between a walker's eyes matters more than knowing multiplication tables.

I wasn't sure about it to begin with what with it being different characters to the TV series and comics, but after Episode 5 came out I succumbed and bought the Series Pass thing. And let me say, this is probably one of, if not THE best Next-Gen (PS3, 360, PC) game I've ever played. Series 2 will be a definite Day One purchase for me

Sigh.

Marketing department hackery is not welcome. Go away.
