Post Clem, Y U NO mention that??

If Clems birthday was six days before the final episode, and Christa/Omid joined 4 days ago (they mention it at some point, I think in the Mansion Attic if Lee tells them they've been great since the beginning?), then what reason would she have to not mention it ?

IIRC it would be like, the day before the bandits came and screwed everything up so it's not like it would have been a bad time to say it, right?

It just depresses me that she mentioned something like that to CAMPMAN before Lee ...we could have had such a happy time before things all went to hell...

Yeah, I was actually hit really hard when Campman said that. I wish she would have told us ;n;

Yeah, that part kind of upset me. I yelled "she's 8!" at the game when he asked, and was shocked when he yelled "wrong, she turned 9 six days ago".

But who knows, maybe Clem forgot. I'm sure they didn't keep a calendar around in the zombie apocalypse. Campman was probably trying to be "fatherly" to Clem and ask when her birthday was, she tells him the date, and he's like "that was a few days ago!"

Don't be sad. It was probably the first or second question that wacko sick bastard asked her before telling Clem not to mention their little conversations to Lee.

Actually, that IS possible...never thought of it that way.

Wish there was an option to ask her about it and find out for sure. I sort of expected it to be one of the last things you could tell her before dying

"And also....happy late birthday ..."

But then again that could be taken as sort of dickish on one of the worst, if not THE worst day of her life.

These are possible too.

Hell, I just posted this topic about 5-10 minutes ago and I already feel better . Didn't expect that.

She could have forgotten about it, or maybe she just didn't want to bother the others about it while they were trying to survive... But yeah, that's a shame she didn't tell Lee. That would have been cool to have an option "Happy Birthday" for Lee's last words!

Umm...how exactly do you keep track of the date in a zombie apocalypse?

right...plus even people in jail can count the days even without a calendar ut truthfully birth isn't something to celebrate anymore. anyone born is born in hell now. Survival is what should be celebrated as thats all that matters anymore. And plus side....we all have something in common then that unites us. our survival ages are all the same...until you die

BTW I think clem's birthday was something she kept secret....Was also sad to me that she received the hat from her father on her birthday last year and now at the end her surrogate father gives it back with part of him with it. No matter what Lee's blood ends up on clems hat. beautiful story. I recorded my best possible walkthrough and shall watch it some day and proly still be reaching for that damned Q key....choke choke choke, choke a bitch/stranger for taking Clem

The big flaming ball in the sky.

When the big blueish ball we are on rotates out of view of the flaming ball we call that Night, when we can see the flaming ball we call that day.

One day and one night equals one calendar date. repeat wash and rinse.

In some advanced cultures, like the ones that predicted the end of the world in about 3 weeks if human sacrifices were not made then the big flaming ball would not appear in the sky. Luckily, the Z.A. takes care of that problem.

And that...my scholarly friend is how one keeps track of the date during the Z.A.
you would be wise to remember this information.

I felt horrible when i learned that her birthday passed. She probably thought it wasn't much a deal or forgot about it, and since no one ever asked her she never told anyone.

Lee saying happy birthday in the final scenes would have been really messed up, i think.

"I'll miss you....and also, happy birthday.... now shoot me."

an 8 year old with no school and no tv for months on end has zero idea what date it is. i can't explain why Campman "knows" it was her birthday... but its all relative. he talked to a head in a bag not long afterwards.... ya know?

My thoughts exactly. I don't think clem knew what date it actually was but the stranger was crazy enough that he probably did keep track. There is no reason to keep track of what time or day it is in the ZA. Maybe she mentioned to him the date of her birthday and he told her oh that was a few days ago or something.

I guess Campman had a calendar in his room, and asked on the Walkie-Talkie 'When's your birthday?'

^ I stand by that this is most likely ^

He definitely wasn't lying about it, because on the wikia it says Clem is 9.

The wiki also said Molly would be in episode five.
