He stated that there was going to be a Lilly in the game, but whether or not it was the same as the comic was up to Telltale. Then they released that book...

Game Lilly, though they are the same person in my eyes.

The book was just a crossover from the comic and itself, not a bridge between game and comic, though.

Okay, its not important anyway. I like Lily, I would have gone with her~ Maybe Lee would still be alive, then?

Telltale removed all references that Lilly was from the comics before the book came out. They even changed the chapter in which Lilly left. It was named Off to Woodbury or something and they changed it.

I noticed that too. I think it was called "Woodbury Bound" as the Steam achievement.

I remember some developer noting in a interview concerning episode 3 (it's a interviewing thing called 'Playing Dead' or something) that "Lilly had to leave to, ya know, go do her thing in Woodbury and meet up with Rick and his crew" (or something along those lines).

It's just that stupid book that fucks with the continuity. Lilly in the game will always, too me, be the Lilly from the comics.
