Default Is Molly in the comics?

http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Molly_(Comic_Series)

There is a character that is about to be revealed in issue 105, can this be the same Molly as in the game?

Not so far as I know. TTG has created a number of characters already that have no parallel in the comics.

As Kirkman and others have stated, the story in the game is completely separate from the comics. Same universe, different people, different stories.

Yeah, but maybe TellTale knew that this character was gonna be in the comics?

I do not think It will be her, to be honest. Altough its not inpossible to get from Savannah to Washingtion that fast. Maybe she had a motorbike or something and doged walkers.

It is likely a different Molly. It's not uncommon in The Walking Dead universe that different people has the same name as others.

We will likely figure out about it when issue 105 comes.

But if it IS the Molly we know, I wonder why she would join a dipshit group with a sadistic leader called Negan.

If she did it would just be sloppy writing. Why leave crawford to join the saviors? considering the saviors sound worse.

Molly is a zombie-killer... So she could joined them because thats what she is good at. She now what it takes to survive and we don't know what happened to her after the things what happened in Savannah.

But i still think its not her.

Good chance it's not her. There have been people with the same names in the series, like the 2 Bens for example.

Nope. There are many characters that share the same names in the comics. Chris is an example.

I doubt that it is the same Molly. I think it's another character with the same name. But you do realise that episode 4 and 5 in the game are set much earlier than Rick's arrival to the hill top colony. I say this because you mentioned about her getting to Washington fast if she had a motor bike. If the Molly in the game was the same one in Washington in the comics she would have had ample time to get there given the time frame from when we saw her in the game to when Rick is at the Alexandria settlement. Lee was only about 3 months in the apocalypse. Rick would have been in the apocalypse for over a year (possibly as much as 18 months)when he went to the Hilltop and met Negan. The Molly in the comics wasn't revealed until then.

I hope not. I hate every single character from the comics, I don't want them spoiling the good ones.

You don't at least like Michonne and Andrea? Like I might even understand you hating Michonne but I don't see any reason to hate Andrea. I know it's your own opinion but I actually have a hard time believing you've read the comics if you think Molly is better then half the current cast in the comics.

Well, I guess I was exaggerating a bit. I´m on issue 88, and the only two characters I can stand are Andrea and Glenn. Michonne is alright but I don´t know what to think of her. I utterly hate Rick and the military guy (forgot his name), and everyone else is background decoration.

I doubt it's Molly, can't she die in the game? I thought she was the only character who can live/die depending on Lee's actions. If you don't bring Clem to the Clundertown or whatever it was called and if you don't shoot at the zombie attacking her fast enough I'm pretty sure she dies.

I'd rather not have any of the characters from the game in Kirkman's comics. He just randomly kills people off in the meanest ways possible, and I know he does it to be random and realistic, but it's still mean-spirited in a lot of ways. If Lee were in the comics, he would probably have just been shot in the head with a spear before ever making it to Clementine, while she gets sadistically tortured or worse.

Even if there are only tragic ends in the game, I think Telltale will be more respectful towards the outcome and consequences. I actually felt more attached to the game's characters than anyone in the comics or their television counterparts.

I'm also tired of the comics...there aren't any new tricks left, and the newest villain just seems to be a repeat of The Governor. I was hoping it would have taken a new direction than just having yet another "villain of the arch." Something where people are actually finding new and better ways to live their lives, or super evolutionary zombies (like Crimson Heads) come along. Nope, instead it's going to turn into Crossed before long, where there's nothing but rape and torture, and only repetition of that.

I'm all for shock value and all, but getting stale and predictable is unforgivable.

I had the exact same mentality as you. I'm telling you now, Rick and Carl turn really frickin' awesome (IMO at least). I honestly just think Lori was just holding them back. I don't like Abraham either.

Nah man, Lori was a good character in the comic. She supported Rick through almost everything, except for when she started getting a bit fed up with him constantly running off and not telling anyone. Other than that, she was always by his side, unlike her television counterpart. She kept him human, sane and more moral.

I'll agree though that the new characters introduced post prison and Fear the Hunters story arc have been a bit lacking. They haven't been fleshed out to actually being interesting additions to the crew. Then characters who could actually be interesting (ie, Eugene, Rosita, Holly) are relegated to extreme side characters that you barely see. It also didn't help losing Glenn, Maggie and Sophia in issues 100-101. Glenn gone for good and Maggie and Sophia moving to the Hilltop safe zone. I'm sure those two will be in it again, but to just essentially write them out for now wasn't a very good move on Kirkman's part. At least in my opinion.

The prison story arc definitely changed everything for the comic. Most of the characters were killed off. It was a really bold and risky move by Kirkman, and I really wish that that many characters hadn't been killed. Tyreese, Carol, Hershel, Otis, Axel, all Hershel's children besides Maggie, Lori, baby Judith, Allen, Alice... That's a significant amount of characters to die in one section of the story. I understand why he did it, it's just a shame that so many of those characters could have had so much more life, especially Tyreese and Axel.

On the topic at hand, I highly, HIGHLY doubt it's the same Molly. Frankly, I really hope that it isn't because of what we have seen of Negan and the Saviors. From what we know of Molly in Episode 4, I really hope she wouldn't join up with them.

Ehhh, honestly I don't like her that much. Although she is way better than TV Lori but almost every panel she was in left me uninterested / bored. She's just a waste of time in my opinion. Her duty was, as you said, is to act as Rick's moral compass... which is, in my opinion, really holding holding him back. Following her death Rick, after getting over her passing, became a really awesome character. Same as Carl. Despite losing his moral compass, he's really become a tough leader (which is kind of necessary now).

The characters introduced have been extremely lacking. Take Heath for example, who even cares about that character? The real strength that follows the Prison arc was the development of characters that we already know. I really love the current Rick, Carl, Andrea, and Michonne. I honestly didn't like the Prison arc that much, nothing really special happened until the ending. Didn't help that 1/3rd of the panels was Glenn and Maggie going at it (they screw around like bunnies I swear). Personally I like Negan a lot more then the Governor. His interactions with Carl is awesome. I personally didn't care that much about Glenn's death. It's as Vernon said previously, "I just take death in strides now." I actually much give Kirkman props for being so ungodly ballsy, depicting a fan favorite in... that state.

The only characters I really missed is Hershel, Tyreese, and Axel (it's interesting we had similar tastes regarding Tyreese and Axel!). Possibly Allen. But all this comic really needs to survive is Rick, Carl, and Andrea. Andrea in particular, I fucking love Andrea. She reminds me so much of Carley.
