Another unplayable framerate thread - very disappointing

Being late to the party and hearing that a retail copy would be released, I picked up the disc on release day. After hearing all the great reviews I was looking forward to playing through all 5 episodes at once. Finally popped the disc in and the game is unplayable. By the time the car crashes at the beginning, I almost got eaten by the cop because the game was so choppy trying to pick up the shotgun shell. After that, forget about it. Very disappointed and hoping there's a fix soon.

For ttg- I'm using an Xbox slim (no hd - all I could afford at the time)
2.8g free on the system memory.

Also have a 16gb flash drive that has around 5.9gb free.

I installed the title update as soon as I popped the disc in.

Same problem here. In the first 10 minutes of the game it glitches and lags SO bad that I wonder how they could even release a product in this condition.
